I always forgot how tiring flying is. The flight from Iowa City to Storrs is only around 2 1/2 hours but i am exhausted. I finally made it to my dorm room, if you could call it a room. It's very bare since my things didn't arrive yet and my roommate won't be moving in for a couple more weeks.
You are probably thinking right now, "Charlie, classes don't start until the first week of September, why the hell did you move in to your dorm now." Which is a valid question. Next week i'll be starting my job as the new Women's basketball team head photographer. Their old photographer, Morgan I think her name was moved to New York for her husbands job, leaving her spot vacant.
I was the assistant photographer for the Men's Basketball team back in Iowa, but since then I graduated with my BA in photography. I graduate a year early and was going to attend Iowa to get my masters but UConn offered me the job and a full ride so it really was a no brainer. Yet I was hesitant to take the job.
If it wasn't for Caitlin I would still be in Iowa City, but she wouldn't let me give up my dream job because I was scared.

I don't know where I would be without Cait, she's been my rock since we were little kids. I'm honestly more scared about being this far from Cait than having to see her again.
Paige Bueckers My first girlfriend, my first love, my first everything really. I would have burned the world for that girl. She could tell me to jump, I would ask how high. She gave me so much, but took even more from me. But it's been 4 years since then. I've have grown so much as a person. I don't need her anymore. I will prove to her i don't need her anymore.
I'm not required to start attending practices until August 1st, so I have 3 days to prepare myself to see her again. It will all be fine.
