Little Legolas and his Ada

One early morning around maybe 5 o'clock in the morning in Mirkwood 3 year old elfling Legolas woke up and he was so happy because it was celebrate your Ada day and he thought to himself, I will make my father breakfast in bed, but I don't know how to cook so I will ask Feren to help me" Legolas said quietly getting out of bed and walking towards Feren's room and when the tiny little Elfling entered the bedroom. He climbed onto the bed and said " feren wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up, wake up!!! Feren wake up says Legolas shaking his big brother awake. " Legolas do you know what time it is? I'm tired what do you need at 5 o'clock in the morning he said in a grumpy mood because he did not need to be woken up at a early hour " look I'm sorry to wake you up, but I need you to help me cook a breakfast for my father is for celebrate your Ada day please help me" said Legolas as Feren finally woke up and got dressed for the day and he said " alright baby I will help you make breakfast for your dad, but you have to be quiet because he is sleeping.  Feren said as he walked downstairs with Legolas in his arms because the little elfling was still a little bit, scared to go down the stairs by himself.
When they entered the kitchen  Feren said " Legolas what do you want to make for your father? " Feren said looking through the recipes for the breakfast cookbook and Legolas said " I wanna make my father the spinach omelette, please" Legolas said as he took out the ingredients to make the food and when he tried to grab the eggs feren said " you can crack the eggs in the bowl I will help you. It's a little hard  as Legolas began to crack the egg he was having fun and he said brother I did it"  then Feren began to scramble the egg and he flipped it over and made it into an omelette and then Legolas puts the spinach in it and after a while the omelette was ready and the rest of the breakfast was ready and the final thing to put on the tray was a cup of orange juice and Legolas poured the orange juice into a cup and he said " feren can I bring the food tray to my father, please? It was my idea to make breakfast said Legolas as he held the food trays and Feren said " sure just please be careful. Are your shoes tied" Feren said as he double knotted Legolas leases on his little boots that he loves to wear everywhere he goes and then when his brother was done, tying up his little green boots he said OK go upstairs careful please when Legolas went upstairs he entered his father through and his father woke up and he said " good morning little leaf" " happy celebrate your Ada day Ada I love you so much here I made this for you he said trying to put the tray on the bed, but he lost his balance and fell, and the breath fell all over the bed and when this happened Legolas began to cry and he said " oh on I messeverything up Legolas said crying and before his father could say anything his son ran out of the room and when feren saw what happened he said " oh he was so hard on it. He wanted to surprise you My king said feren cleaning the mess that was all over the bed and he said why don't you talk to him? I got this don't worry." 

" little leaf are you alright? Thranduil said entering his son's room and found him crying in his pillow and his eyes were red from crying so much " oh hi Ada I'm sorry I mess up your perfect day. I'm such a horrible son. You might hate me." Legolas said crying and his dad said " my dear little leaf You are not horrible and you didn't ruin my day my day didn't even start yet. My day is very stressful. I have meetings and my day only begins when you and when I see your face and when I see you happy I don't want to see you sad my son." I didn't what are you talking about? Of course I messed it up. Look at you. You're all dirty and covered syrup and egg and I ruined your your Ada day Legolas said continuing to cry, but then his father noticed a piece of paper on the floor and he picked it up and said did you draw this picture my son?" Thranduil said opening the paper and finding a cute drawing of himself with his in his arms and then at the very bottom of the page it said " happy Ada day daddy i love you so much love your little leaf. " yes i did draw that picture Ada" "why do you like it?" Legolas said as his father scooped him up into his arms and said of course my son I don't like it. I love it because you drew it and I know your handwriting. It's all scribble I have to teach you how to write my son I think you wrote your name wrong no daddy I put my nickname. Oh right sorry son but yes, I love loveit." later in the afternoon thranduil decided to cancel all his meetings to spend the day with his son and the first thing he did was to give his baby boy a bath as his father gives Legolas a bath he said " my son I loved the card and your drawing and whatever you do for me I will love it regardless how messy it is and how scribbling you're writing it. I will love it. You don't have to impress me. I love you, my son remember that" Thranduil said as he took his son out of the tub and got him dressed and clean clothes for the day and he said wait for me outside. I'm gonna take a shower and then I'm gonna take you to the park." As Legolas went to the backyard to wait for his father. He saw some flowers and he picked them up and it was his father's favorites tulips, and he picked up every single one he saw, but one of them had a bee on it, and the bee Stung him " oww that hurts me Legolas said as the bee stung him  when thranduil got outside he found Legolas picking flowers and his son put the flowers behind his back and he said I have a surprise for you, daddy " oh ok little leaf I will cover my eyes. Can you tell me when I can open them?" " OK daddy open your eyes. When thranduil opens up his eyes he says " oh my goodness Legolas did you pick my favorite flowers" thranduil says taking the flowers and he puts them in his crown and then he scooped up his baby and he hugs him tight and says " oh my little baby boy you just made my day even happier my sweet son. I love you so much now let's go to the park and have fun. When Thranduil and his little leaf 🍃 got to the park his father took him to the little elf side of the playground and they played on all the equipment and they had so much fun. " Ada can you please go down the side with me? Legolas said as he climbed up the ladder to the top and his dad followed him up the ladder and went down the slide with him and he said " oh Legolas that was so much fun. I never had this much fun in a long time. I'm so busy. I'm just glad that I had time to spend time with you, my baby" thranduil said going down the slide together about 10 times. " Ada catch me if you can. Said Legolas running off and his father chasing him and he said I'm going to get you my little one said thranduil as he chased his little boy around the park and finally catching up to him, but he tripped and fell, and his son ran to him and when Legolas saw his father fall down he ran to him and he says " Ada are you ok said Legolas giving his daddy a hug and a kiss and he said does your boo-boo feel better?" Legolas said helping his father stand up, but then his dad fell down again and he said " ow I think I sprained my ankle my son. I think we have to go home. When the king and his little prince got home. And when Feren saw what happened to Thranduil he said " my king I think that ankle is broken, not sprained can you walk on it, sir?" Feren said as the king laid in his bed and he yelled in pain " ow the pain it hurts me so badly Feren please get me some ice, please it hurts me so much " shh Ada everything is going to be alright Ada please don't cry Legolas said trying to keep his father calm, but he was so worried about the pain so his son hugged him tight and said don't cry. I'm here. I'll protect youlike you protect me." Legolas said as he lays his head on Thranduil's chest and gently touches his face and gently rubs his tears away and he said don't cry, daddy feren is going to bring you some ice ice and then you'll feel better soon and I love you very much. I enjoyed our day today. I enjoyed going down the slide and eating ice cream with you. Legolas said as he fell asleep on Thranduil's chest and he stayed there for a long time trying to keep his father, nice and calm and he comforts him every time he cried " shh don't worry Ada I will protect you and keep you safe. Everything gonna be OK I promise. After a few hours. Feren entered the room with a bag of ice and he put it on. Thranduil's ankle to help the swelling go down. " shhhh my Ada I know it's cold but you need it if you want to get better" Legolas said as Feren puts the ice pack on the king's ankle and kept it there for about maybe a long time about maybe two hours. Later that night at dinner Legolas brought his father's food to his room and he he said " here you go Ada Feren made your favorite toasted garlic Lembas and pasta Legolas said putting the bowl of pasta on the night table and the bread on the side and then he helped his father sit up " thank you my little leaf don't worry I can feed myself. He said trying to get closer to the bowl but every time he moved his leg, his foot hurt so his little son fed him and said " open up daddy here eat your food Legolas said feeding his father " ok Legolas I can eat the rest. I can feed myself. I'm not a child said thranduil grabbing the bowl from his son and finishing the rest of the soup and eating the bread and he shared with his son a little bit.

Later on after Feren gave Legolas a bath and read him a story and puts him to bed he went to check on Thranduil and he found him asleep and he took the dirty dishes out of the room and went to the kitchen to wash and later at night around 8 o'clock Legolas snuck into the room he said " Ada are you awake? " yes my little one I am I can't really sleep. What's wrong Legolas thranduil said as his son climbed onto the bed and he said I didn't have a nightmare or anything, but I just wanted to check on you can sleep here" " sure Legolas you can sleep with me tonight little one" thranduil said as Legolas cuddled with the blanket and he hugged his daddy tightly and he said I love you Papa so much so very much and the very next morning thranduil felt so much better and he and Legolas went into the forest for the day and they looked at baby animals and then his father noticed a deer and his son and he said look my son is a father and his baby just like you and me daddy Legolas said looking at the father and son deer and his father said yes just like you and me. You're my little fawn and I'm your papa.

Back at home Legolas remade the breakfast that he tried to make for his father on celebrate your Ada day and he brought it upstairs to his father and this time they were able to eat it because it didn't not fall on the floor and both father and son enjoyed eating together and Feren said" my king I'm glad to see that you're feeling better. Are you in any pain?" " not at alll feren I feel so much better now that I get to enjoy this special breakfast with my son son my wonderful boy I love you so much Legolas I love you so much too Ada
