Legolas is 3 years old
One hot summers day in woodland Thranduil was trying to keep himself cool by opening a window, but that didn't work for a while and he was sweating constantly and his son was also sweating and he said " Ada is to hot Legolas said trying to keep himself cool, but he was also having a hard time. Then his father said " my little leaf why do we go to the beach and we can play in the sea you like to play in the water, right? " but Ada there are sharks in the water what if they eat me. Legolas said as he Started to get scared because he didn't like the ocean too much. Don't worry my little one everything going to be all right. I will be right by your side while we in the water. At first Legolas stayed quiet because he still didn't want to go into the water but then he thought about it and he said OK daddy let's go to the beach. Later on in the afternoon Thranduil and his son made it to the beach and then his son was about to run into the sand when his father stopped him and said " oh hold my baby boy before you go off and play you have to put on sunblock on so you don't get a sunburn my son thranduil said as he found the sunscreen and then he began to put it on his son. " there now you're ready to go play on the sand but before you do, here is your shovel and your bucket, to make a Sandcastle my little one.
A few hours later Legolas was making a Sandcastle and he was having so much fun and he said " Ada look I made a sandcastle what do you think? Do you like it. " of course I love it my little leaf it's really wonderful said his father as he looked at the Sandcastle. After a long time of playing with the sand thranduil looks over at his little leaf and he said " Legolas my sweet little boy would you like to go swimming in the sea said his father getting up from the sand and he walked over to his son and picked him up and he said my little boy would you like to swim in the sea with daddy. " no I'm scared of the ocean Ada Legolas said as he began to tremble and shake from fear and because he was scared, but his father said don't be scared my son I'll be with you the whole time. I promise I will not let go. I promise you now let's go into the sea and have some fun.
" No!!!!! I'm don't want to get in the water says Legolas as he clung to his father so tightly that he wouldn't let go. Legolas my strong little boy please let go of daddy. you're Going to be OK I promise now let's go into the sea and have some fun. We can splash each other with water and after we are done swimming, we can eat Lenbas toasted for lunch your favorite with mushroom soup on the side I promise now you have to let me go and I'm gonna put you in the sea and everything it's going to be OK. I promise I'm going to be here the whole time. Thranduil said trying to calm down his son who was crying nonstop because he was so afraid but then he stopped crying and his father lowered him into the sea and he said open your eyes baby. You're standing up.
When Legolas took notice that he was floating in the water and not drowning, he said the water is nice and warm, Ada says Legolas as he began to splash the water and have fun and he began to swim just a little bit because he only knew how to swim for maybe five minutes and that was it but when he tried to swim, he noticed he couldn't find his father anywhere and he started to get scared because he thought his father was drowning because he didn't know that his dad went underwater and he started to search the water and he started crying and screaming " Ada where are you Legolas said trying to find his father when he he thought he was lost forever. He began to cry even more, but then his father went back up and he said baby what's wrong when he noticed that his son was crying for a very long time. " Ada I got scared. I didn't know where you were. Please don't hide from me. I got scared when I couldn't find you anywhere the little elf said as he cried into his father's chest. " oh my sweet little leaf it's OK. Don't be scared. Daddy is right here. I won't go under the water if it gets you scared I promise. Thranduil said as he held his little boy in his arms and he rubbed his back to calm him down. " shhh my little leaf daddy will always be here to keep you safe and happy and will never leave your side I promise.
