Daou POV

Daou laid on the bench press panting as he had just finished his third set. This past week had gone by in a blur. Between him starting his training for his upcoming match and trying to figure out where he stood with Offroad was exhausting. Besides stolen glances and underhanded comments, Daou hadn't been able to place his hands on Offroad again and his hands were itching to feel that warm smooth skin.

"You're in a better mood," Frank said as he leaned over the bar staring down at him. Daou smirked at him. "Did you get your date?"

"No," Daou smiled this time to himself. "Something better."

"Gross," Frank made a face.

"Hey, I have literally walked in on Lee fucking you 10 ways from Sunday in the ring don't 'gross' me." Daou laughed. He sighed now. "I don't know where I stand though."

"Why don't you ask him?" Frank suggested walking around to stand in front of Daou and the bench.

"I am afraid of the answer," Daou said, sitting up and rubbing his head. "I don't want to be a fuck buddy." Daou never wanted to be anyone's friend with benefits, he grew too emotionally attached to people and it always went south really fast. He wasn't just possessive or jealous he was also territorial. He needed to make sure that everyone knew that what was his was his and they had no right to it. But he didn't have that right to Offroad.

"Awe don't get all sad on me now!" Frank whined, slapping his leg. "Are you coming to Lee's birthday party?" Frank asked, reminding Daou of the event that was tonight. His friend Lee was turning 27.

"Why would you even ask that? Of course, I am coming." Daou informed Frank.

"Hey, I didn't know with the whole bodyguard shadow you have going on." Frank put his hands up in an offensive manner.

"Oh yeah," Daou realized he had forgotten about that. It was kind of hard to remember you have a bodyguard when your eyes are glued to said bodyguard's perfectly plump ass all day long. "They'll get over it, no one is going to stop me," Daou smirked.

......

"No," Offroad bellowed in the car. Daou had informed him when he had gotten in the car from his training session, of Lee's birthday party that evening only for Offroad to shoot it down completely.

"I'm going with or without you," Daou said, turning away from Offroad in the seat.

"Stop acting like a fucking child," Offroad growled. "Do you know how many security threats are associated with fucking clubbing?"

"No, but I have a feeling you're about to tell me." Daou sighed, annoyed.

"A fucking lot, I know you don't take what happened to your parents seriously,"

"Hey!" Daou screamed, interrupting Offroad. "Yes, I do!" Daou couldn't believe Offroad had just said that. "I literally go from home to the gym and back. I don't hang out with my friends, I don't go shopping. I have no life anymore! So don't you dare say I don't take what's going on seriously!"

"Then you understand why you aren't going," Offroad said nonchalantly as they pulled into the driveway of his home. Daou watched Offroad put his car in park shutting off the engine Daou lunged for his door handle keeping Offroad in the car. "Move your hand," Offroad growled. Daous hand reached up and cupped Offroads jaw turning his face towards him and running his thumb over his bottom lip.

"Can I kiss you?" Daou asked his lips now mere centimeters from Offroads lips.

"No, someone could see," Offroad answered in a breathless whisper. Daou had a feeling that he wasn't the only one who couldn't stop thinking about that night. Daou dropped his hand from Offroads' jaw to the middle of his legs, gripping Offroads' now hardening cock through his slacks. "Stop," Offroad hissed but Daou watched as his legs attempted to spread open in the cramped car seat.
