Johnny Moonshine - Maggie Antone
3rd Person POV
'Twas a sizzling summer afternoon in Laredo Texas..
Well that's what George thought as he was dressed in the most revealing outfit he's worn yet.Nothing skimpy, just not what you'd usually see townsfolk wearing. George was watching his two cousins scrape up horse droppings in this blazing heat wearing their regular apparel, long sleeved blue collar button ups, jean pants, and boots.
George was bewildered they still prance around wearing all that in this heat, the male himself was only wearing a t-shirt and khaki shorts.
"Aren't you both burning in that?" George questioned.
Tommy stood straight, adjusting his hat."We would all be under a tree sippin' on some lemonade if you'd help." The boy deadpans. Nash was too busy to reply, all he could muster up was a grunt.
"Yeah cause cleaning up poo is how I imagined spending my summer.." George cringed, he was propped up on the gate, swinging his legs back n forth, just observing.
"You're doing such a good job, profesional pooper scooper Tommy— Really." George giggled, taunting the younger.
Tommy groaned, throwing his shovel down in the dirt before making his way over to his cousin, grabbing the lad by his shirt, and tossing him down. George yelps as he gets rudely tossed into the mud. In retaliation he grips Tommy's collar and drags the kid with him.
"Tom! George! cut it out." Nash try's to scold the other's through laughs. watching the two boys roll around in the muddy grass shouting profanities at each other made this job so much better.
"Tommy get off!— eugh! i'm all grimy..!" George pulls and shoves the younger around, Tommy shoves the brunette's face straight into the mud..
George gasps as he lifts his face from the muck. He was ready to shout his heart and soul out onto his cousin when he hear's a laugh. That doesn't sound like Ash... George thought.
It was not in-fact his other cousin. Clay stood leaning on the gate George was once perched upon, smiling down at the boy covered in filth.
"I don't recall being invited to this self-care day? are mud masks trendy in England?" Clay chuckled as George stared, jaw dropped. Tommy snorts looking at his cousin trying to get all the muck off his face.
"Don't even trouble yourself trying to get that off, he saw you already..embarrassing..." Tommy sucked his teeth as he teased the latter. George was red as a tomato...but was it from the awkward moment he found himself in? or the boiling rage he felt for the boy sitting next to him laughing his butt off.
Seeing red, George slammed Tommy's face into the mud before standing up.
Tommy pealed his face out of the dirt, dazed as he blinked repeatedly.Nash was silently dying as they all watched George push past Clay and walk straight to the house, having his second shower of the day.
—
"I said i'm sorry!" Tommy snickered watching George clean out his ears with his towel. The two cousins and Clay all sat round the living room.
"There's literally mud in my ears Tommy!" George was still mad about what his cousin pulled on him.
"At least you won't be able to hear Tommy's bickering..?" Nash mumbled, trying to see light in the situation. George was having none of it, he flopped backwards onto the couch, next to the older blonde, letting out a sigh.
"I thought you looked cute." Clay complimented with a soft smile. George looked at the man like he was crazy.
"I looked cute—? covered in mud and possibly animal droppings.. really Clay." George said unimpressed. Clay shrugged.
"You will always look cute to me G" He rested his hand on the elder's leg rubbing circles into George's skin.
Tommy gagged and Nash slapped his brother head.
George saw an opening and took it."Cute enough to give me a real kiss?" The brit dramatically puckered up his lips, moving close to the other's face. Clay pulled back, chuckling nervously.
Tommy gagged louder this time.
"Still not over our conversation from last night..?" Clay asked. George withdrew and slumped back into the couch.
"Argument, you mean.." George rolled his eyes.
He definitely was not over their little dispute last night, it wasn't any help they fought while under the influence. only words were thrown, but whatever moonshine Skeppy concocted was too much for George. The headache he was feeling earlier during today played a part in his moody attitude now. He really wanted that kiss."What! you fought? square up big D!" Tommy broke into a comedic fighting stance. Nash sighed. George and Clay looked at the boy, George gave the male beside him a look.
"I would pay to see Tommy beat you up." George murmured. Clay shook his head laughing.
"He wouldn't be able to reach me." Tommy heard that and started to walk up to the older blonde.
"You wanna go old man!?" Tommy growled, Clay gasped offended.
"I'm not old!" He stood up. Nash grabbed Tommy's ear and George pulled Clay back down onto the couch.
"well be taking our leave. You have chores to get back to." Tommy whined as he was whisked back to work by his brother.
"I'll be back asshole!" Tommy shouted. Clay rolled his eyes before turning to George.
"Remember I told you soon didn't I? That's why i'm here.. I wanted to take you somewhere." The man smiled. George raised his eyebrow.
"Where exactly?" George looked him up and down.
"You're looking at me like in taking you into the woods to kill you George." Clay laughed.
"Well you never know." George huffed. Clay kissed his cheek.
"I would never darlin' Now whenever you're ready to go we can head out." He stood up, offering his hand out to his beau. George reddened as he took the man's hand, getting guided outside and into Clay's F150.
"I'm stealing your cousin for today!" Clay waved bye to the two brothers. Tommy was ready to escape with them, running to the truck to get out of chores, but his brother held him back, smiling and waving the two men goodbye.
