“Gentlemen. It sure is a busy night isn’t it? All this fighting, it’s like being a civil war. How's it going everyone?” Tanisha greeted sarcastically then turned her attention to Charon, “Drop the gun, Charon, I really don’t wanna do anything nasty." She then looked I Vero's direction. "And as for you, I better not see you even flinch a bit. If you try anything funny, I’ll turn this thing electric and lacerate you in half.”
“If you’re here for your boss, you’re ten minutes late. He's already out cold on the floor.” Vero told her, the whip still wrapped around his neck.
“Oh no. I arrived just in time. In time to see the legend lying on the floor beaten close to death. Just how I was expecting it to end.” She stated with a pleased tone. Vero and Charon eyed her suspiciously. Just as planned, what did that mean? They thought.
“Oh I know what you’re thinking, “What does she mean by that”? Well boy’s I’ve been planning to take down King for a long time now. But taking him down directly on a one-on-one fight was suicidal, no one could beat him straight in a fight, especially with his Nano-machines, so I needed a more tactical approach.” She began to explain. “Instead of taking down the King directly, I would instead create chaos in his organization and from the ashes, I would dethrone the King and become the new Queen.”
“I first started by influencing his boys to behave a little irrational and reckless, you know, do things without permission and cause scenes in the city worth enough to get people’s attention, and do whatever pleased them. Then Warren, poor guy, never had a taste for the gang life. Hated every minute of it. Only wanted a reaosn to solve things with his fists. Still I didn’t expect him to try and take down King directly though I guess he got what he wanted since it was sooner or later when he would've left the organization. At least in the end, I’m the one who put a bullet in his head for nearly ruining my plans and stopped him from blabbering anything not worth mentioning.” She explained then turned her attention to Vero.
“Vero D. Yeager. Now you were the guy I wish I knew about a little earlier. I heard a lot of interesting things about you including your rep as “The White Dragon of Chinatown”. I knew you would be the guy with the potential to beat the King. So when I heard about your little run-in with some of the boys, I convinced Warren to pay a visit to your house and rough up your grandpa a bit, so when it that happened, you’d be motivated enough to want payback on the entire Harlem Knights and go up against all of them. A pawn of revenge. But that plan didn’t go well, it ended when it started so it was back to the drawing board.” She explained.
“As for the cops, well let’s say that this city’s tax payer’s money is just being flushed down the drain by my opinion. Those idiots are completely useless. I mean even when an, “ominous” tipster tips them off about a takeover or deal, they always show up when it’s already over or can't do anything much about the crime in this rotten city.” She remarked, snidely.
“So this is what this betrayal is about? Earning profit?” Charon inquired, his voice though containing hate, anger and disappointment, still kept its usual smooth and rich tone.
“From your simple view, that’s what you would say. But nah it’s something else, something deeper. When I was still a child, I had to witness my parents die in front of me and me be spared so the scumbags responsible decided to use me as some pleasure toy for sick mobsters almost every night along with several other orphan girls in an old abandoned orphanage. Damn sex slaves!” She snarled as she continued. “While I was living in that hell, I was put in insidious snuff films where I either had to kill other children or be raped alongside them. By the time, I took a stand and slaughtered my way to freedom, only God knows how I still kept my sanity.”
