Misaki's P. O. V:I hear the sound of footsteps early one morning and turn over in my bed. I glance at the alarm clock to see it's 4am. Why is Giyu up so early?
I climb out of bed and head downstairs to find him eating breakfast. "Hey," I greet, causing Giyu to look at me.
"What are you doing up this early?" He asks me.
"I was just about to ask you the same thing," I respond, leaning against the doorframe with my arms crossed.
"I have a mission with Kocho. I'm to go to Oyakata-sama's headquarters right now," He says.
"Oh," I say. "A mission, huh? Well, good luck. I'll see you when you get back."
Giyu nods as I go back to sleep and he leaves for his mission.

I stand beside Giyu in the courtyard outside the headquarters as we wait for the master and Sanemi Shinazugawa to arrive. There are eight Hashira currently present, as we're about to start Tanjiro Kamado's trial.
He's currently on the cobbles, unconscious with his hands tied behind his back.
The male Kakushi attempts to wake up the unconscious boy.
"Wake up. I said wake up! You gotta... hey! Can you even hear me?! Come on, get up!!" The Kakushi's eyes turn to frustrated animated white triangles as he clenches a fist. "Are you gonna sleep all day?! WAKE THE HELL UP, WILL YA!!" Tanjiro starts awake with a gasp as he looks up at the other Hashira. "You're in the presence of the Hashira!!"
A Hashira with his white hair in a ponytail muses, "I heard he was a demon slayer with a demon in tow. I was expecting someone with more flare. But it's just some ordinary looking kid. Too bad." That's Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira.
Kyojurou Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, says, "We must see that this boy is put on trial to be judged! So it must be!"
"What... who are these people...?" Tanjiro gasps before the Kakushi presses his head to the cobbles.
