Chapter 17

I've deleted in the previous chapter that Muzan wants Misaki to join him.

Third Person's P. O. V:

"Misa-chan!!" Giyu exclaims fearfully upon seeing the purple eyed demon trapped in the crystal. He whirls around and hits the butt of his sword against the crystal. It doesn't crack. He tries hitting the edge of the blade against it but it holds strong.

As Giyu repeatedly hits the crystal with his nichirin katana, the male demon laughs. "You won't be able to break it so easily! My crystal is strong."

Tanjiro swings his nichirin katana at the demon who barely manages to evade it as he growls, "No, you won't!!" Nezuko exits the box and sees her fellow demon in the crystal prison. "Nezuko?" Tanjiro glances to her questioningly. Grunting worriedly, his sister dashes over to Misaki as Giyu counties to try to break the crystal.

The demon throws crystal shuriken and one gets Tanjiro in the shoulder, making him grunt. Tanjiro uses Drop Ripple Thrust, thrusting his sword towards the demons' neck. The demon dodges as Zenitsu was there and slashing with his blade.

Inosuke uses Slice to slash his two jagged swords in an x for the demon. The demon creates a crystal sword and clashes it against the younger Demon Slayers.

"Dammit, dammit, dammit!! I can't break it," Giyu pants after failing to break it already. He hangs his head helplessly. "It's no use..."

Giyu squeezes his eyes shut to try to stop the tears from flowing. Nezuko gazes sadly at him for a moment before placing her hand on the crystal. Giyu starts when it's suddenly set on pink fire.

"What are you doing?!" He demands frantically, worried she might accidentally burn his ward. However, the flames soon die down and the crystal is burned, but Misaki remains unharmed.

Giyu looks from the hunger demon girl to the pinkette as she relaxes and blinks her purple eyes,

"Misaki!" The Water Hashira exclaims in relief as he hugs her, surprising Misaki. Tanjiro smiles at them in relief.

The demon was shocked as Misaki hugs Giyu back and says, "No! Impossible! No one's ever broken free of my crystal before!"

"I was so worried," Giyu tells Misaki. "I thought I'd never get you put, but Nezuko managed to somehow." They pull back and Misaki smiles from him to Nezuko. "Thank you, Nezuko." She then turns to glare at the demon before them. "Now to finish you off." She slashes at his leg with her cherry blossom petal which the demon flinches at before running at him and punching for his face.

The demon dodges and runs past her.

He raises his sword but Giyu was too slow to block it and it embeds in his lower back, causing Giyu's eyes to jerk wide. Misaki gasps loudly, feeling her heart stopping in her chest.

"Giyu!!" Misaki screams as the demon pulls out his sword and Giyu staggers slightly before collapsing.

"Oh, no!" Tanjiro gasps.

"You'll pay for letting her go!" The demon seethes, holding the sword above Giyu to land the finishing blow.

Misaki suddenly feels her heart starting again as she hears it beating Ludlum in her ears as memories of the night she lost her parents and got turned by Muzan flash through her mind, blood all over the kitchen. Blood on her.

Tanjiro goes to help Giyu but pauses when he hears rasping breathing. He cautiously turns his gaze to see Misaki staring at the Water Hashira on the ground with the demon about to kill him, purple eyes wide and chest rising and falling.

"Ito-san!" Tanjiro exclaims fearfully, not wanting her to go berserk.

"No... not again... I won't lose anyone else I love again!! AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Misaki starts transforming, a tattoo of sorts creeping along her body as a horn grows out of her forward.

The demon about to kill Giyu suddenly gets kicked away by an incredible force, almost knocking the wind from him. He hits the ground before coughing and grunting, looking up. He gasps upon seeing the pink haired demon Muzan desires standing before him, leg outstretched.

"How are you this strong?!" He gasps as she lowers her leg, revealing the marks and horn, a crazed look in her eyes. He gasps. "You've begun to turn into a higher level demon!"

"Trying to kill someone I love in front of me?" She hisses as she gives a twisted smirk. "Bad. Move."
