"Cheristy?" a voice asked from behind me. I was Carl.

"Hi." I said, sternly.

He stood in front of me and said,"Do you have balls?"

Wait what?

"What!?" I said, stepping back, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Well they didn't work but, you are the bravest girl I have ever met."

I didn't know where he was going with this, but it was obvious he was hitting on me. Hard.

"Ok Grimes. Are you going to propose or something cause your flirting."

His face went totally red. I giggled, I was a girl what were you expecting me to do?

"Umm noooo. But we want you to come back we haven't seen you in years and well you've changed."

If there is one thing you shouldn't tell a girl in the apocalypse is that she's changed and not specify if it was for the better.

"Excuse me?!" I said then slapped him straight across the face knocking him to the ground.

"What the hell?!" he exclaimed.

"You know I started thinking you were cute not so much anymore."

"Wait, Cheristy."

I spun around and looked him dead in the eyes with a smirk on my face.

He looked at me and blushed I then continued to walk towards the house and yelled back to him, "Come on Carl you don't want the walkers to getcha."

I opened the door to the house and walked to the living room.

"Cher-bear."

There was only one person who called me that and it was my dad.

"Yes?"I looked at him and really noticed how much he had changed.

Not only did he look different but he acted different to. More companionate, more broken.

"Stay away form Carl." he said sternly as Rick walked into the room.

"No." I said, shaking my head and furrowing my eyebrows.

"Leave my boy alone." Rick said, he leaned forward looking dead into my eyes.

"Negative." I said using my best terminator impression as I crossed my arms.

"You stay form Carl or so help me god-" Rick started forgetting my dad was right next to him. My dad cleared his throat and gave a quick glare at Rick.

"So help me what? Gonna leave me in the middle of more then one hundred walkers cause it didn't work the first time it ain't gonna work now!"

I smiled at him and abruptly took a step forward, making Rick flinch.

"That was a mistake and you know it!" Rick spat, walking closer as well.

"Oh really. Then how come you didn't even try to save me. Instead you ran away like a little bitch." I teased, talking through my smile. Rick loosened up, defeated.

I smiled and curtsied. I walked past the two men who watched me with confused looks on their faces.

She walked into the hallway and slumped into the wall. She looked up at the white ceiling and sighed.

"Hey." Maggie said walking up to me.

"Hi."
"Haven't seen you in a while kiddo, your just gonna great me with a simple hi?"
I looked at her and smiled,"Well then, good day to you old friend."

She smiled and said,"Same to you. Bow don't go get yourself in trouble."

I made a grimace as I wracked her walk off and go talk to Glenn.

I took my gun and inspected it. It was a nice gun, perfect for me.

"Hey Cheristy?" Carl said for what I felt was the tenth time today.

"Well there."

"I found this. You left it at camp the day you left when we were little."

He handed me a silver locket that had begun to rust. It had intricate swirls and patterns on it and on the back it read,"CHERISTY DIXON"

"My locket..." I stammered, opening it up revealing the pictures of my mom and dad with a small note tucked into it reading,"Never forget where you came from."

I smiled and said sweetly,"Thank you."

"No problem dinner's ready wanna come sit down?"

I thought for a moment and said,"One second and then sure."

He nodded and walked away to the dining roommate, placing Judith in her highchair.

I put the locket on and quietly stated,"Dont worry momma I won't forget."

I walked to the dining room and sat on one of the benches between my dad and Carol.

They put a plate in format of me and gave me some beans and veal, that my father had gotten.

"Thank you." I said to Carol who had given me the food. She nodded as Rick sat across from me and pretended to forget my existence.

I did the sme as I started to dig in. The serving wasn't much but it was enough.

"So," Glenn said trying to break the silence.

"Yeah." Carl breathed.

I groaned and asked,"Who wants to have some fun?"
