In the Red Keep: Baleríon's Skull
Before Annora, everyone in the Red Keep knew that their King had ridden the infamous and legendary dragon, the Black Dread. However, they couldn't see the inner dragon in King Viserys that they could often see in his daughter and brother. Now, they could finally see the fire burning once more in the eyes of their King.
Their beautiful and fierce Queen Annora had helped stoke the flames at the beginning that had now formed into a full-blown fire. No longer did they see a weak King. That man died with Queen Aemma and Prince Baelon. The man who replaced him was as fierce as his current wife, Queen Annora, and as strong as his brother, Prince Daemon.
Viserys was lost in thought as he stood in front of the skull that belonged to his past dragon. When he felt like he needed a moment to himself, he'd venture below the Keep and find himself remembering the fond memories that he had with Balerion.
Soon he heard footsteps, though he did not turn as he knew who was behind him. Slowly but surely he felt his eldest son brush his shoulder against his own as he stood next to his father. They stood in silence for a moment more before he heard Baelor let out a soft sigh next to him.
"What is on your mind, my son?", the King asked.
Baelor turned his head slightly to the side and slightly leaned into his Kepa when he felt his arms move to bring his son into his arms.
"I am scared Kepa... Why does Rhaenyra want me to be her Hand once she ascends the throne after you? I don't want to think of a time when you and Mūna are no longer in this world.."
