To explain their later historical reference(s) of being 'powerful and deadly forces not to be trifled with, especially when they're together', we have to start at the beginning...
To start with, Lady Selina Stark was the perfect 'silent but deadly' woman, and that alone made her presence in the group equally 'unique' within each other. For they all had their own 'strengths' that made them powerful enough to be written about in the future history books.

The 'strength' that Lady Amara Strong brought to the group was her 'kind aura', which is how she made those around her relax instantly just by being in her presence. Now, that may not sound like a good 'strength' but it truly was. Her 'strength' caused those in her presence to let their guard down and spill all their secrets to her without even realizing it.
