Viserys I Targaryen Chambers
King Viserys I Targaryen was working on his building of Old Valyria when he heard a knock on his door and the announcement of a desired individual wanting to come instead to see him from his guards. When he questioned them at the door, they scooted aside to show Lady Annora Hightower holding some goodies in the basket in her arms with a sheepish expression on her face.
For a second, he was confused as to why she was here until it dawned on him that the other day, after learning of the schemes committed by his Lord Hand, he suggested that she come to his chambers for brunch or an early dinner depending on the exact time Annora was free and could show up in front of his chambers.

When Annora walked forward into his chambers, she seemed nervous but determined. The King let her in and steered her toward the table across from his Valyria Sculpture. Sensing the tension in her body, Viserys wanted to ease her.
"Annora, as I told you the night before, I do not hold you nor Alicent responsible for the actions of most of House Hightower. You must understand that I am not upset with you or your sister, okay? These schemes of Otto are only his and Lord Hightower's, not yours or Lady Alicent's"
To make her truly understand the truth within his words, he grabbed her hand and looked her right in the eye while repeating himself for the second time.

Annora nodded, but the hand that Viserys wasn't holding was shaking, which pointed out her nerves to Viserys. To offer her some additional comfort, Viserys kept her hand in his own and told her to trust in him, for he would never lie to her. Once Annora relaxed, he called for a maid to serve the tea. Once the servant placed the tea on the table, she was thanked for her service to Annora and sent on her way.
"Come, sit down. I wish to get to know you more, my dear. We don't have to talk about your father, Annora. I plan on speaking with him about his actions another day. For I have a very important question to ask you"
Annora, while a bit cautious, trusted her King. She could see on his face just how sincere he was about his words. She took a breath, let go of his hand, and sat down across from him. After they spoke, laughed, and listened to the stories of each other for over an hour or two. After a bit, they stood up and walked to his molds of Old Valyria.
For the next 20 minutes or so, Viserys excitedly spoke of his interests in history while Annora simply leaned against his side, smiling up at him. For she adored the excitement that took over her beloved. Once he slowly calmed down, he steered her back to the table with their empty cups and half-eaten pastries.
After Annora sat down, Viserys took a deep breath and gave himself a little pep talk. Okay, relax... You can do this. You've gone through this before. Remember that she feels the same as you!
Viserys once again reached forward and grabbed both of Annora's hands in his own instead of just one as he did earlier.
"Annora, I know it hasn't been long since we met, but I know in my heart that the question I'm about to ask you is incredibly important and hopefully not incredibly shocking to you... Will you marry me, Lady Annora Hightower?"
As Viserys asked, he was struggling not to sweat out of nervousness. Especially once he saw that Annora had a surprised look on her face.

"Oh, my. Viserys, I would love to be your wife! However, are you sure that you're completely ready for this? Don't get me wrong, I have indeed fallen for you, I'm still falling for you, but I also know that it has not been long since your late wife, Queen Aemma, passed.."
Viserys softly smiled at her, let go of her hands, stood up, walked over to her, and softly put his hands on her cheeks.
"Lady Annora Hightower, I am completely and utterly positive that I would love to become your husband. Though, yes, I still feel great sorrow for the death of my late wife, I am ready to start anew... with you as my beloved wife... If you'll have me, of course"
Annora shook off her shock at his proposal, held his hands that were lightly holding her cheeks, and smiled up at him. She cried out with happiness and said "Well... then I accept your proposal. I'd love to be your wife, Viserys!"
