Why did Lonely Boy wander the Public Library all evening tonight? And then was seen checking out a book on french love poems? We haven't seen such sappy behaviour since Serena came back to town. What's happening in Brooklyn? Au revoir. Xoxo, Gossip Girl.

"I don't know. I really like him but... l like also want to run from him. Does that make sense?"

Blair's eyebrows rose, trying to but also not to understand, because she had an agenda of her own. "So you really like him?"

"Oh god, I think so, B. It scares me at times."

Blair glanced at her phone where Serena's voice was coming from. "I don't see it." She wanted to almost laugh but she of course could not.

"That's just cause you don't know him."

"Oh, I've seen him plenty enough to know him." She smiled, thinking about Gossip Girl's latest post. French love poems, huh?

Blair arrived at the next dance lesson but immediately realised this wouldn't be like the others when she heard extra voices around the corner. It happened all so quickly. Cece, Serena and Lily were all speaking but over each other to the point, it was hard for Blair to follow along. Every once in a while she heard Dan interrupt.

She contemplated recording a voice clip or two for Gossip Girl but decided against the idea. Oddly the Gossip Girl intrusion would just feel like overkill at this point. Blair trusted the path she was already on so she skipped her first dance class since this whole ordeal began. She deserved a little break.

Don't tell me that our two crazy love birds are already calling it quits? Oh, S, are you pushing away love again? Oh, dear. Or more like 'Oh, Dan.' What a shame. Barely even lifted off the ground. Xoxo, Gossip Girl.

Blair doesn't play tardy on the next dance class. She has a Cotillion to prepare for. What she isn't prepared for is the state of her dance lesson. She returns to an empty dance studio.

"I don't know if you heard the news," Dan joined from behind.

"Which news is this?" A Iot had happened in the last 24 hours, Blair thought. Gossip Girl has been busy.

"That Serena has declined the offer of the Cotillion and because of that, Cece rescinded her support."

Blair blinked in surprise, not expecting this move from dear old grandma. Blair had always thought of the older woman as a classy broad but it seemed that Blair was mistaken. Dear grandma could be petty. Blair narrowed her eyes. "Which means what exactly?"

"I'm not exactly sure," he rubbed at the back of his neck. "I suspect no teacher but nobody kicked me out on my way in here so the place seemed to be still rented out."

"I can hire a teacher if we need one."

"We?" Dan frowned, "I don't know if you heard me but Serena said no. As my part in this is over."

"So what? You're ditching me too? When I may not even have a partner and now I don't even have a dance partner for practice?" It came out more quiet than demanding, which annoyed Blair but she couldn't take it back now. So she stood there, trying not to stare as she held her left elbow.

He looked surprised that she was continuing to want him here in any fashion. "Is this your park avenue way of asking for my help?"

"You're here, aren't you?"
