The Cotillion ball is officially over and yet why do I feel like the dancing has just begun? Xoxo, Gossip Girl.

"What scent are you wearing?" Blair asked as her nose brushed against his neck. "I don't remember giving you any for your Cotillion set up."

Dan nodded, though he looked distracted as his hands wandered up and down her bare back. "Yeah. I borrowed this from my dad. It was a gift he got while touring. Some Arab oil but the name on the bottle is pretty faded."

Blair hummed as she smelled the woody, caramel scent again while nipping his ear. "Well tell me the name of it and I'll buy you ten bottles of the stuff," she declared as she rose to sit on his mid. The sheet falling around her hips.

"What? You're buying me gifts now?"

"How else should I woo you?" Her hips started to make slow circles over his.

Dan grunted in response. "Now you're wooing me?"

"Until you say you are mine," she said, grinding harder with these words, only to let up once quiet again. "Even past this weekend."

"Fuck, Blair," he swore before sitting up to switch their positions. "I went to a fucking Cotillion, something that is against everything I'm about, for you. I think we both know where I sit in this. Hell, I even punched both your exes..." he grumbled into her chest before kissing the skin he found there.

Blair laughed and ran a hand through his hair. "I still want to hear the words."

Dan paused before nodding, "I want to hear them first."

Blair licked her lips, thinking this would be harder but Dan had never shown her a moment of hesitation or uncertainty. Even when he had no reason to care, he had always taken the time and effort to make sure she was okay.

"I'm yours, Dan Humphrey."

Dan let out a happy groan and pulled her into a hug in his lap that quickly became a messy kiss too.

"And I'm yours, Blair."

"Mmm... Show me."

Anybody else excited for the cold light of Monday morning? No? Just me? Xoxo, Gossip Girl.

Dan and Blair exit the limo in the morning and immediately every set of eyes were upon them before she even had a chance to link arms with Dan. This battlefield seemed less daunting as his other hand covered hers at his elbow. A soft soothing touch amidst the fray of high school, gossip and fake friends.

She's not even sure of where Serena came from but nobody can ignore the resounding slap that accompanies her appearance and how Dan's face is now turned from the force of the hit. A slap he didn't even try to fight.

Blair winced, half expecting the hit had been for her.

Serena turned her attention to Blair with tears starting to form in her eyes, "I thought you were my best friend."

Blair let out a small breath before saying, "And I thought you were mine."

"I am. I was, Blair."

"Well friends help when their conniving grandmother scams your best friend, Serena. But you're too busy ditching when people need you."

"So what? You hurt me to get back at me, Blair? Stealing Dan is low even for you."

"Because only you're allowed to do it?" Blair smirked when the crowd around them grew quiet in shock. Who knew how many guys Serena had stolen over the years from all the girls in Constance and a definite chill was in the air as girls murmured about their own Serena stealing their guy moment.
