Blair: So you approve?

Dorota: Yes, Miss Blair. He is kind and perfect for high school boyfriend for you.

Blair: ...

Blair: I need you to come to today's dance lesson then.

Dorota: Of course, Miss Blair.

He stood on the sidewalk in front of the studio when her car arrived and she decided then and there. She wanted him. It feels silly and exciting all of a sudden as she fought off a smile as she drew out her phone and texted Dorota a new plan. She first invited Dorota to come and watch Dan and her dance together but suddenly she wanted the alone time together with Dan.

Blair: You can watch from the coffee shop next door. We can meet up after and compare notes!

Dorota: Yes, miss Blair. I'll buy the scone you like too.

Blair closed her phone, knowing she could text back after.

"Milady," he said with heavy sarcasm as he opened her car door. She tried to not read into the gesture but she couldn't help the smile that appeared. It coloured her pink to play along as he helped her out of the car with a single pull of her hand. He rolled his eyes at her but she didn't miss the smile too.

She could work with this.

"And finally, why I think Dan is a good boy is he actually reads! And books you like to read too. Reading is very good for young men. It gives them character," Dorota looked up from her little notepad to Blair.

"Yes. Yes, I know he has your approval but do you think I have a chance in pulling this off?" Blair had all the confidence in the world if needed but she couldn't make a single move in this plan if Dan had no interest in her. Unfortunately his questionable taste came into account on this matter. Blair knew she had seen flashes of interest in him from time to time but was that just the usual male dog horniness or more?

Dorota gave her a look of confusion. "How so?"

Blair rolled her eyes, annoyed she was going to have to say the words. "Will he... You know- like me?" she tried to come off as she didn't care but the question came out more wounded than she had hoped. "I'm not attempting this without some clue, which is why I had you watch our lesson together today." She fought to keep still and not fidget.

Dorota got a little smirk that she instantly made disappear in fear of Blair seeing. A soft smile took its place, "He seems enamoured to me, Miss Blair."

Blair laughed gleefully, "I knew it! The way he watches me was not fully innocent."

"I noticed the same," Dorota said before showing her phone where a picture of Dan helping her out of the private car could be seen. Yet Blair's eyes were stuck on the looks on their faces. The subtext of this photo spoke volumes for even Blair could see the blush on her face and the entangled look in his eyes.

"Send me that photo," Blair declared abruptly, wanting the picture for her personal collection, though she had never thought she would be willingly adding Dan to it of all people..

"Of course, Miss Blair."

"So he likes me..." Blair remarked, her eyes looking off into nowhere in thought. Her ego was only slightly growing too big with this information. She couldn't stop the smile.
