"No one could hold a candle to this trick," Simon punned in front of his audience. Edgin, Drordask, and Holga found him at a theater in Triboar, holding up a single flame on his fingertip. But, after seeing no one laugh at his terrible joke, Simon blew out the flame.
"How about this one?" Simon asked. "You people like the smell of fresh-cut grass?" Reciting a spell, Simon opened his palm and released a tiny gust of green wind, releasing the scent of grass that had been freshly trimmed.
"Smell that?" Simon asked. "It's fresh-cut grass."
"My five-year-old can do that magic," one woman said in distaste.
"But can he do this?" Simon asked before reciting another spell. Immediately, his body began to blur.
"Boo," he said.
"He hasn't gotten better," Drordask said to his friends. "We're doomed."
"I don't think it's about what he's doing up there," Edgin said before pointing ahead. As Simon said it took a lot of energy to look that blurry, a ball of jewelry and cash began floating behind the audience.
"Anyone can be very blurry," Simon continued, "but to be slightly blurry, that's the real magic." His form came back into focus as he saw the bard, barbarian, and ranger all standing there.
"Is that..." he asked as Drordask waved with a smile.
Once Simon lost his focus, the ball of gold and jewelry dropped to the floor, getting everyone's attention.
"What?" someone asked. "What was..."
"Hey!" another shouted. "He's nickin' our bits and bobs!"
"It's not what you think," Simon said, trying to sound innocent. "It's all part of the act."
"He's lying!" the audience member said, not buying it for a second.
"Get him!" another shouted as he stood up. The audience then stood up as one tackled Simon to the stage.
"Shield spell!" Simon shouted as he turned his magic dial for a glowing blue orb. He then recited the spell, only instead of a shield, he flipped the gravity inside the entire theater.
"That wasn't a shield spell," Simon said to himself before running along the ceiling for an exit. One member, however, grabbed his foot and tripped him as more stood up to charge him.
Reciting another spell, Simon fixed the gravity causing everyone except himself, because he held onto a beam on the roof, to fall to the floor.
"I am not loving this show," Holga groaned as she, Edgin, and Drordask all stood up.
"You're a dead man!" an audience member shouted as he grabbed Simon by the shirt and pulled him to the floor. The sorcerer tried another spell, only for his mouth to get covered.
Desperate, Simon poked the man in the eyes to finish his spell. He was shocked to find that he flew through the glass dome roof and continued to float. After shouting another spell, his gravity returned as he fell down the slope of the roof and into Holga's arms.
"Simon?" she asked.
"Holga!" he said with a smile as Edgin and Drordask rode up alongside them.
"Staying for an encore?" Drordask quipped.
"Shut up, Drordask!" Simon zapped. "Get me out of here."

Later, the four walked through a field along a path. Drordask guided the horses as they all traveled on foot.
