Echoes of Departure

In love's shadow, where vows decay,
The heart, in anguish, echoes wane, fade away.
Tears shed, as autumn rain's soft call,
Nourish soul's garden, where memories sprawl.

Longing burns, like embers in the dark of night,
Echoes of laughter, touch, gaze, take flight.
The weight of silence, where words falter,
And void screams, where once found shelter.

Letting go, freeing a wounded bird,
Beyond grasp it flies, its song unheard.
Accepting pain, time's gentle mend,
As heart's scar slowly begins to blend.

From disillusion's ashes, dawn anew springs,
Hope reborn, as each hour brings.
At tunnel's end, a guiding light,
Promise of new dawn, defining night's flight.
