IT WAS 2 WEEKS INTO the school year and so far Nayeli was over it. Today was Bella's birthday and Alice demanded Nayeli get Bella a present. Before she went to school she dropped off the gift to Rosalie and headed off. Emmett and Nayeli hadn't been able to have a proper conversation since the incident at the store she wasn't pushing him to speak to her. She parked beside Mike's truck and greeted them with a tender smile.
"Nellie did you finish the Shakespeare assignment?"Mike asked it was clear to her that Mike hadn't even started it
"yes but not for you to copy"she quickly shut him down Mike frowned"Maybe Bella will help you"
Bella walks to them with her backpack hanging off her one shoulder"wherefore art thou, Bella?"
Nayeli rolls her eyes Bella chuckled as she looks around for Edward.
"did you finish the Shakespeare assignment?"Mike now asks Bella
"He means will you finish his assignment"Jessica gives Bella a big smile
"No I don't"Nayeli give him a pointed look"okay yeah I do"He finally admits
"I can help you with it but first I need a photo my mom is expecting a scrapbook full of memories"Bella holds out a pink camera Nayeli inches close to Angela trapping her in their group for the photo
Nayeli flashes a big smile along with Angela and the others.
"you'll photoshop it if my nose looks big"
"Jess you look gorgeous"Nayeli playfully rolled her eyes
"no one will be looking at you they'll be looking at me"Eric pretends to move his hair out of his face Nayeli grins
"oh please Angela is the hottest in the photo"Nayeli nudges her Angela blushed dropping her head to hide her soft pink cheeks"you will be the last person they look at"
"I beg to differ chicks dig dudes with long hair"Eric argued Nayeli scoffed
"absolutely incorrect the girls like jocks which is why they'll look at Mike our favorite benchwarmer than you"
