NAYELI WATCHED AS KAI pulled himself up using the couch she didn't make a big deal so she didn't startle him but internally she was screaming and clapping at her son's milestone. Emmett sat with Carlisle reading the newspaper but her saw Kai and did the exact same thing Nayeli was doing screaming internally. The couple looked at each other smiling excited about his milestone.
Bella and Edward joined everyone after hunting together as they normally did. Nayeli pointed to Kai as he was still holding his weight on his feet Edward opened his mouth the cheer but Nayeli immediately put her hand on his mouth.
"you'll scare him and he'll cry"She said
"oh right, yay Kai"Edward whispered and clapped softly Edward sat down while Bella looked around for Renesmee
"blondie stole her...again"Jacob told Bella while he ate his sandwich"she's really attached to the kids isn't it weird?"

"Rose has always wanted to be a mom so it's natural she's attached to children"Nayeli added"it's not weird at all"Jacob looks back at Nayeli her eyes telling him to stop talking about it Jacob turned back around watching Rosalie with Renesmee.
The phone rang and all side conversations halted as if the person calling could hear them speaking. Bella looked around before stepping forward to look at the caller ID.
"it's Charlie"Bella tells everyone but still they don't move
"he's been calling twice a day"Edward tells his wife Nayeli ran her hand over her face before answering
"hi Charlie"she answered the man was in bad shape but she didn't have the heart to tell him about anything on Bella
"hey Nayeli any news on Bella"Charlie asked his sounded broken and defeated, worried
"no nothing yet Edward hasn't called us to give an update yet"She lied easily she hated this, she hated lying to him.
