NAYELI SAT IN THE KITCHEN watching Kai tug on his toys and put them in his mouth. With her feet she rocked the bassinet. Before any of the Cullens left they ran over the plan one last time.

"so you're still upset?"Rosalie asked Nayeli looked up but looked back down

"yup very pissed off" She dismissed Rosalie the same way she dismissed Celine who only received this anger from her association with Rosalie and Emmett

"we were upset because Emmett and I felt like you weren't thinking straight"Rosalie justified Nayeli ignored her"look Nellie he's my godson and I want to protect him"

"you're not the only one and what I did showing him to the pack was me protecting him I know my boys and I know they'll come around they're stubborn like me"Nayeli shot down the conversation with those words she turned her attention back to Kai

Nayeli picked Kai up and strapped him securely to her chest as she went outside to get fresh air. She took a seat on the step and watched as Jacob, Leah, and Seth went to speak with the boys. She could hear the conversation but she didn't go over there it didn't do anyone any good when she tried to diffuse a situation clearly so she stayed away and focused on the sleeping two week old on her chest.

"everything went well?" Nayeli asked as Jacob helped her stand

"yeah they made it safely"Jacob confirmed to her and Edward she nodded and went the other way to get Kai ready for a bath and feed him a bottle.

Nayeli set Kai in the bassinet and washed his hair and body. She changed him into a matching set of pajamas she bought a while ago for her and kai to wear. She smiled as she played with him hearing him coo and even tug on her hair she loved her son so much.

"Nayeli!"Edwards voice cut through the house she picked up Kai and headed downstairs just as Jacob and Edward picked up Bella while she was screaming in pain

"shit"Nayeli gently set Kai down in the swing and hurried off to help

Nayeli followed them into the room as they laid Bella down. Nayeli grabs the morphine and hands it to Edward he gives her the shot and stands back to let it do its job.

"Carlisle said the placenta must've detached he's coming as fast as he can but..."Alice told them as she was on the phone with Carlise

"tell him to put that vampire speed to full use"Nayeli said as she kept her attention on Bella

"we'll have to do it"Rosalie picks up the scalpel Nayeli and Edward both reach for it to stop her knowing the morphine hadn't kicked in yet

"rose! Wait for the morphine to spread"Edward growled

"there's no time he's dying"Hearing those words made Bella panic and she begs them to take out the baby eagerly Rosalie cute open Bella's stomach

"hey focus on us it's me and Nellie"Jacob soothes Bella as she writhes in pain from the incision

The sight of blood distracts Rosalie she drops the scalpel the smell of blood overwhelm her.

"rose don't"Edward pushes rose away as Jacob holds her by the throat until Alice came back to take her out the room

"save her, you have to change her"Jacob says is voice becoming nervous as he looks at her screaming in pain Nayeli winced hearing Edward rip the embryonic sac she allows Bella to squeeze her hands

"It's a Renesmee"Edward announced looking at the baby Bella smiles faintly her grip loosening on Nayeli her heart rate slowing Nayeli knew Bella was dying over all the excitement Edward didn't hear her heart failing

He hands Renesmee to Bella Nayeli turns around and picks up the syringe filled with Edward's venom. They were going to need this if she had any chance of survival.

"bella? bella?" Jacob shakes her her hand drops and her heart stops quickly she gives Edward his venom and he injects it into her chest

"jacob take the baby"

"keep that thing away from me"

"it's a fucking baby man move"Nayeli pushed him out the way and walks out with baby Renesmee's to clean her off and put her in something of Kai's

"I'll take her Nellie, I'm okay"Rosalie promised Nayeli gave her Renesmee and walked in to see Edward biting every inch of Bella's body I'm order to save her

Nayeli gives CPR while Edward continues to inject his venom in her with his teeth. Jacob stands close not bothering to assist in any way.

"I'm not going to kill you, you deserve to live with this"Jacob snarled with tears in his eyes

"That helps no one Jacob get out!"She uses her ability to push him out the door and slamming it"come on Edward don't give up"

"Come on Bella please, please please please"Edward's pleads for her to wake up made her burst into tears the cpr she was giving Bella was useless. Edward picks her up off the table as she cries for her best friend every argument or hurtful thing she said about Bella came back to haunt her she reached for Bella's hand crying.

"bella please wake up I'm sorry I'll never argue with you again"Nayeli sobs holding Bella's limp hand

Nayeli was crying for her and Edward being as he couldn't cry. With his hand on her back she holds on to Bella a bit longer. Edward sat beside her on the floor both of them leaning against the bed Bella laid on both of them still reeling from the traumatic loss of someone they loved deeply. In a moment of sad silence Nayeli broke down again. Edward placed an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close.

"It's alright I got you"Edward hugged her he knew she was falling apart over the loss of her closest friend someone she had grown to love unconditionally"we can stay here until you feel better"

"we'll be here forever"She mumbled as she inhaled a few tears
