It was a peaceful day on the Thousand Sunny. Clear skies and calm seas. The sun shining down at the crew members on the deck.Nami and Robin were sunbathing with Robin reading a book with a questionable title as usual, while Nami gave small instructions to Jimbei who was steering the ship.
Jimbei as mentioned was steering the ship with Nami's help while conversing with Franky about whatever came to mind.
Usopp could be seen tending to the plant on the upper deck. He was moving around checking the plants for anything unusual and smiling in satisfaction in finding nothing before he started to water them.
Sanji was in the kitchen cooking up lunch, coming out from time to time to give refreshments to everyone (special ones for the ladies) and to tell a nagging Luffy that the food would be ready soon.
Zoro could be seen lying on the grassy deck, with his hands underneath his head acting as a cushion as he slept peacefully with his three swords next to him. Chopper could be seen sitting next to him and grinding some medicine together with a thoughtful and determined expression on his face.
Brook was playing a soft but playful melody on his violin. Humming a soft tune as he leaned against the ships mast.
And lastly, their beloved Captain was sitting in his special spot, which was on top of the ships figure head, grinning his usual grin as he held his precious Straw hat tightly to his head. Occasionally, calling out to Sanji about an update on the food.
All was well, until Nami noticed a sudden and abrupt change in her compasses.
She was surprised and startled by the sudden change and had to do a double take to make sure her eyes weren't deceiving her, before immediately ordered Jimbei to change their course in direction.
Jimbei, startled by the abruptness of the sudden change, still obliged and turned the ship a near three-sixty around, which caused it to tilt a little, surprising everyone onboard.
Luffy was nearly flung overboard if it weren't for his quick reflexes as he reached a rubbery arm out and latched onto the mast. Chopper also caught off-guard by the sudden change, tilted over and knocked his medicine onto the grassy deck, and would've faceplanted as well if it weren't for Zoro steadying him up-right. Usopp wasn't so lucky tho, and ended up on the floor, drenched wet cause the watering can flew from his grasp and ended up on his head. All the while, Sanji was in the kitchen balancing all of the pots and stuff like his life depended on it, his limbs stretched out to hold everything in place. Trying to stop the food from falling onto the floor and being ruined.
Once the course was steadied again, Nami looked at her compasses in confusion before rubbing her head in doubt. The change was completely unexpected and reminded her of their first days on the Grand Line. But she wasn't some unexperienced girl anymore. She's had spent the last 2 years training her skills, so surely, she can't make a mistake like this right?
"Navigator-san, what was that about?" Robin asked from beside her as she put her book down.
Luffy jumped down from the main mast and approached her as well.
"Yeah Nami. I nearly flew off the figure head, but it was fun!" Luffy said laughing and Nami hit him on the head before replying with a look of comical shark teeth.
"THAT'S NOT SOMETHING YOU SHOULD LAUGH ABOUT!" She scolded him.
Just then she was approached by the rest of the crew, minus Jimbei who was still steering the ship, he was listening in to the conversation though.
"Nami-swan! Is everything okay my beloved?!" Sanji asked with hearts in his eyes.
"Yeah Nami, that was a big surprise right now" Usopp added.
