                                      Ragna the Bloodedge X Hsien-ko

Characters: Ragna is the man that sacrificed himself to break the cycle of self-destruction in his world. And to do that, he had to erase his history from his Dimension. As well as his existence. Hsien-Ko was once a Human but sacrificed her Humanity to become a Jiang-Shi. She did this in order to fight on even ground with Darkstalkers and free her imprisoned mother.

Origins: Ragna is the main character of the anime Blazblue Alter Memory. And Hsien-Ko comes from the four episode OVA, Night Warriors Darkstalkers' Revenge. Or as I call it Darkstalkers for simplicity.

Basic descriptions: Ragna is a somewhat rough, ill-tempered and fowl mouth man. But under this exterior lies a much softer side. That's compassioned, merciful, courageous and thoughtful.

Hsien-Ko is respectful, goodhearted, honourable, some-what clumsy. Hates evil supernatural beings and those that abandons their Humanity for the sake of power. Hsien-Ko also has a intimate interest in men who seeks to improve themselves and help others.

Similarities: Both started as playable characters in their respective video games. Then got Anime adaptions which are not that well known.

Both had sacrificed something in order to achieve a noble cause. For Ragna he had to sacrifice his own existence to break the cycle of constant self-destruction. And give everyone in the Blazblue universe possibility, as for Hsien-Ko. She gave up her Humanity to protect innocent people from evil Darkstalkers, as well as to find a way to free her mother. These two's powers comes from a dark source.

Both their games feature playable characters that are Human and non-Human.

Ragna and Hsien-Ko each has a sibling they care about, with one of them having two.

Each has a dark side, which both had fought literally and metaphorically. With Ragna facing off against the Black Beast and Hsien-Ko fought her dark side in the game. They also fought other foes that were as strong as them and even stronger, while surviving each one. Ragna and Hsien-Ko had also been many misunderstandings that lead to fights.

To the public eye, both are seen in a negative way with Hsien-Ko being a Darkstalker and Ragna as the most wanted man in his dimension. But in actuality, they're both good people. And with the fact that they saved their worlds but their deeds goes unrecognized. Makes them Unsung Heroes.

Draw backs: Ragna has a fear of ghosts and with the uncertain info if Jang-Shi's are either Vampires or Ghosts. He'd easily get confused and worry towards Hsien-Ko. One of them most of the time, fights by themselves while the other always fights with her sister. Due to her past experiences with Lord Raptor, Hsien-Ko won't have such a good first impression of the Grim Reaper.

Reasons: If these two were to reveal more about themselves. They'd become closer and more trusting towards each other. With Ragna's experience with bringing people back to their senses. He'd be very helpful if Hsien-Ko were to give into her darker instincts. Plus, if he was told about her goal to free her mother, he'd go along with the two sisters to. As he'd done the same thing for Noel and Rachel.

As for Hsien-Ko, she'd be a breath of fresh air for Ragna. As she would be a little more straight forward with her answers, unlike the vague ones he receives from certain people. Hsien-Ko would possibly lend an ear if something is bugging Ragna and if she were to be told about Terumi. Hsien-Ko would defiantly get pissed at what the green hair psycho did to Ragna. While making a kind of promise to completely free Ragna from his fate. As a bonus, she would also help Ragna with his childhood fear of Ghosts.

If there was a crossover game between Blazblue and Darkstalkers. Ragna and Hsien-Ko would have some very interesting dialogue. Like Ragna questioning whether a Jiang-Shi is a ghost or a Vampire. It would also be fun to see them doing a combo attack. I even came up with a name for them, as well as one for Felicia and Taokaka. Twilight Rampage and Cat Gutter.

Since Ragna doesn't exist in his universe anymore, who says he can't end up in another one? And if that one was the Darkstalker realm. He'd integrate rather well, plus with his skills and powers. He would become very popular among Darkstalkers and Humans.

Ragna would also throw a lot of monkey wrenches in both Demitri and Jedah's plans.
