Chapter 8: The Mine Shaft

Location~Enchanted Forest
Point in Time~Past

As the Evil Queen's royal guards escort Lucy to the torture chamber. An arrow flys out of nowhere, piercing through one of the guards' necks. The guards stop in their tracks. The Huntsman runs up and begins to take out all of the guards with his sword.

"It's okay, you're safe with me," the Huntsman assures Lucy as he holds out his hand. The twenty-three year old smirks as she grabs his hand. The two of them run deep into the forest, away from the Evil Queen's castle. They continue running, eventually finding a small cottage that looks to be vacant.

Lucy and the Huntsman enter the cottage in hiding as the Evil Queen's royal guards come upon it by horse. They pass by not paying any mind to the cottage. As they exit the cottage, the two of them begin to chuckle as they smile at each other. They begin to gaze in each other's eyes, lean in and lock lips. They begin to forget about all of their worries as they embrace each other.

Location~Storybrooke
Point in Time~Present Day

"Henry, come on," Julia calls out as she works on his lunch in the kitchen of the Mayor's house. "You're going to be late for school." Henry walks into the kitchen and takes his lunch box as the brunette hands it to him. "What's wrong Henry?" Julia questions the boy with concern.

"I miss Emma," Henry pouts. "I wanna see her."

"I'm sorry Henry, but I've been told not to allow it," Julia explains to the young boy as she kneels down to his level. "Now come on, it's time for school." The two of them then exit the house.

Later in the day, Henry is back in session at therapy with Dr. Archie Hopper

"I'm serious, you are Jiminy Cricket," Henry insists.

"Henry, that cannot possibly be true when I'm clearly human." Archie gazes at Henry with such concern. "Now let's continue your evaluation."

"It's official Emma, you're the Sheriff's Deputy," Graham smiles at the blonde as Daniel walks into the room.

"What's going on here?" Daniel questions Graham and Emma.

"Graham has appointed me as his deputy," Emma smiles at Daniel.

"Oh wow!" Daniel gazes at Emma in awe.

"Daniel, you okay?" Graham takes notice in the way Daniel's looking at her. "Are you falling in love with her or something," Graham sarcastically chuckles. Daniel snaps back into reality as his cheeks turn red.

"It's okay Daniel, you're pretty smitten yourself." Emma pats his right shoulder.

"Okay now, get a room you two." Graham rolls his eyes at Daniel and Emma. Moments later, the entirety of the surrounding area begins to shake as if an earthquake is taking place. "Whoah, what was that?" Graham shouts with concern as the three of them look around each other.
