A long time ago, in a legendary era, humans were attacked by a dragon and were in great danger. Brave knights tried to stop the dragon, but the humans were too weak. As everyone felt despair at this fact, it was another dragon who offered a hand and saved them. 

There is only one reason why this dragon, also vicious and cruel, helped the humans. It was because the dragon loved a human knight.

Then the dragon that tried to destroy the world disappeared and peace came. The dragon and his human knight founded a country and the dragon blessed the kingdom. It is said that there will be someone in the royal family who will inherit their power in every generation.

And a king with the power of a dragon ruled the country for generations. But that was not the only thing inherited. The cruelty of the dragon was also passed to the king. For that reason, the Regas, the dragon tamer, was always at the king's side.

A person who is closer to the king than anyone else and earns his trust. As time passed and the power in their blood faded, the Regas' need decreased considerably. But the Regas has already become a symbol of peace and a close collaborator of power. They have now become human tamers instead of dragon tamers.

"So originally, appearance was not important to a Regas. To win the favor of the king, they raise pretty boys with striking appearances and call them Regas, but that is wrong. How is that any different from a pimp?"

Although he had already heard it hundreds of times, Abel couldn't help but question his teacher's dissatisfaction.

"So, what a Regas needs is, uh..."

"Is it climbing a cliff?"

Now the end was around the corner. His limbs were shaking from climbing the cliff for hours. However, the master waiting above did not think of catching him and continued complaining.

"What Regas needs most is a good relationship with nature. Trees, grass, birds, wind. It is said that only people who can communicate with all of nature are qualified to approach the dragons. Of course, you must have the patience to tame a dragon, a good personality to handle its dirty temper and good physical strength! So, at first, a Regas was just a colleague who suppressed the King's instincts and gave him advice. He wasn't just a dressed-up sex toy for the King!"

The professor raised his voice and exploded with anger. The pride of raising authentic Regas was evident on his face, but his shabby appearance, wearing old and frayed clothes, revealed a miserable reality.

Long ago, he raised Regas, who truly became the King's spiritual companion, but as time passed, the only disciple left was Abel. People have long considered Regas to be the King's concubine.

There was no need for a method to tame a dragon. Even, if necessary, Abel wondered what benefit climbing the cliff would provide.

"Ugh. Ha ha ha... "

Although he was from the countryside and had a strong physique, he groaned. Abel barely stood up and then clung to the ground, his limbs shaking convulsively. However, the indifferent master urged him to stand up.

"Hurry up, follow me. I have to go pick mushrooms before the sun sets."

Abel sighed and barely managed to lift his exhausted body. It has been 10 years since he was under the tutelage of his master. Originally, he had no intention of becoming a Regas. 10 years ago, he was an 8-year-old boy barely surviving in a war-torn town and no one accepted him easily. It wouldn't be strange if he died of hunger right then.

The person who approached and took him in was his master who was passing by. Therefore, no matter what the master taught him, Abel learned it unconditionally to return the favor. But no matter how much he was his benefactor, Abel was confused about why the master insisted he become a Regas.

What is a Regas? Were they not the spiritual companion of the king who believed that only the most beautiful man in the country could become so? A person as big as him and with a rough appearance did not suit him at all. Currently, there is only one place where Regas are raised, "The King's Heart".

However, the master said that his sect was also a place where Regas were raised. It is also an orthodox sect that produced official Regas. Of course, it is said that the actual case of becoming the king's legate was a long time ago.

Perhaps that is why the teachings here were completely different from those in the "King's Heart". The teacher said that Regas' qualities come from within, not from their appearance. Of course, looking at the personalities of the teacher and his only disciple, that statement is not credible.

However, Abel quickly followed his master without saying anything. Lately, his master had been increasing the intensity of his training. Abel knew the reason was because of his anxiety. Eight years ago, a child was born into the royal family who inherited the power of the dragon.

However, contrary to the fact that the dragon's abilitieswere almost disappearing, there was a rumor that the dragon's mark was revealedon the body of the newborn child. There was only one thing that worried theteacher. What if the child was born with not only the appearance but also thepower of a dragon? If he couldn't control it, a huge disaster could occur. 

Maybe even the kingdom will disappear.
