Raven:...... This silence irks me. Say something, girl. I know we're not friends but I didn't mind talking....fine. I'm tracking the Herrscher of the Void. Hmm... I just found a few suitable targets.
Raven's words were filled with contempt, but she seemed like a person who would honour her words. Mei followed her gaze and saw a few Chariot-class beasts roaming aimlessly about.
Mei:...what's so special about these Honkai beasts?
Raven: Nothing so far.
Raven's cape fluttered and she was gone in an instant...
Mei then turned to the Honkai beasts and drew her blade. She then changed towards one of them, she then slashed the beast. She also used her lightning elemental attacks to help her attack the beast with high speed slashes. When one of the beasts tried to attack her she dodged it quickly, after a while of attacking the beasts she killed one of them and just finished off the second, so she turned her attention to the third. She landed a barrage of lightning fast slashes. After taking the third beast, more Honkai beasts appeared.
So Mei then turned her attention to the newly appeared Honkai Beast. They was attacked Mei a lot, causing her to dodge and counterattack, a lot more frequently. With the slow time function, dealing with all the beasts was a lot easier. When the slow time function stopped, she landed more powerful blows on the beasts, she also used her lightning attacks as well, using both her lightning and high speed slashes made it easier to deal with them. Mei also made sure to not get hit by them. Shortly after she killed all the beasts, however Mei's work wasn't done yet.
Three more powerful Honkai beasts appeared, Mei expecting this, so she activated her burst. Then she destroyed two of the Honkai beasts in a matter of seconds. So she then attacked the third beast, it's didn't take long to kill the beast, however Mei didn't realised a more powerful Honkai appeared.

A dark shadow flew past. Raven landed on the beast and sank her talons into its carapace. A crimson hue quickly spread across the pale white shell until the beast was wholly covered in darkness.
Raven: The pain will be gone, child.
The beast's dying roars soon stopped. It then collapsed lifeless to the ground.
Mei: What did you do to it?
Raven: An intimate "exchange", you might say. These common beasts aren't sentient but will respond to Honkai signals like some form of pheromones. Disrupting these signals allows us to change their behaviours. Controlling one beast will let us command the others. That's how I've kept the beasts and zombies away from the safe zone.
