A completely exhausted Owl finally collapsed.

He tried waving the Herrscher away, but she stared blankly like a snowflake oblivious to everything around her. She then slowly extended her hand...

The Herrscher picked up Owl, her movements clumsy yet surprisingly gentle.

The Herrscher's touch was no longer freezing. Her face showed hints of emotion. Astonishment and joy filled his heart. He decided to let the Herrscher carry his weight and continued walking.
Meanwhile Mei the Herrscher of Thunder was on their tail.
Mei(HoT): The Herrscher of Ice stayed here for a while. She was just here.
As Mei continued going through the frozen landscape around her. Honkai beasts were in her way, so Mei quickly dispatched them. After clearing them out she continued on her way towards the Herrscher of Ice and Owl. However she found more beasts blocking her path, so Mei then fought and took them out.
Mei(HoT): I'm very close...
Mei took out the two beats that was blocking her path, however a more powerful beast emerged, however Mei wasn't in the mood to waste any more time, so she summoned her Honkai wyvern, she and her beast dealt with the icy Honkai beast. After killing the beast and her wyvern flew off. Mei noticed something.
Mei(HoT): What is that?
A strange statue of ice stood in Mei's way. Upon touch, the statue disintegrated into sparkling ice crystals and gave off hushed whispers...
