Maia's Perspective

"Alright, team, listen up! Summer's almost here, and we need a plan," I declare, the excitement palpable in the air as anticipation fills the room. "What about that music festival everyone's been talking about?" I suggest, eager to gauge their reactions.

As we settle into discussion, the room buzzes with energy, each member of our group contributing their ideas and aspirations for the coming months. Kayden's enthusiasm is infectious, his eyes alight with the prospect of adventure.

"Sounds good to me," he chimes in, his voice ringing with excitement. With each word, the vision of sun-drenched days and starlit nights at the festival grows more tantalizing.

Yet, amidst the anticipation, a sudden realization strikes like a bolt of lightning, casting a shadow over our plans. "Guys, do you realize what date it is?" I interject, a note of urgency creeping into my voice.

Confusion clouds the room as Miles voices the question on everyone's mind. "August 17th? What's the big deal?" he asks, brows furrowed in puzzlement.

"We need to go, now!" I exclaim, the urgency of the situation propelling us into action. With a shared sense of determination, we hastily gather our things, our minds racing with the possibilities of what awaits us as we hurry to our meeting with Coach. The weight of the impending danger hangs heavy in the air. Each step feels like a race against time, our hearts pounding in unison as we navigate the familiar corridors with newfound urgency.

With every passing moment, the gravity of the situation becomes increasingly apparent. August 17th looms ominously in our minds, a date etched in our memories for reasons we dare not speak aloud. The urgency of our mission propels us forward, driving us towards our destination with single-minded determination. Miles opens his gates, and we head off.
