Trisha came back to the bed and breakfast with Sayde so they could sort out everything. Trisha insisted on covering the week's bill and Sayde who rather not argue went upstairs to collect the minor things she had removed from her jeep and the duffle bag.

She made 3 trips just making sure she didn't leave anything important inside the bed and breakfast.

Mrs Bonny came up to her with a neatly packaged bag, it was lunch and some pastries that she could go with.

She thanked Sayde for being such a great guest and asked her to stop by once or twice for a cupcake and some coffee, which Sayde gladly obliged.

After the finalisations were done Sayde followed Trisha back to the house where she immediately started moving her things into the living room.

Looking at the time she realised she could still make it to the store in time to pick up some stuff she needed. Trisha had told her about a store about an hr or 2 past her house and she could just show her the way since she needed to pick up something for her husband since he was gonna be home for the weekend.

Sayde happily accepted and hopped in her jeep to follow Trisha to the store. They parked in front of a large building which had in bright neon letters "Mid Valley Mall." It truly was a sight to behold from the outside.

After the long ride, she followed Trisha around the store where Trisha showed her where stuff was and where to get cheaper items etc. The building was huge with elevators on one end and escalators in the middle there were even stairs outside if you wanted to get to the top floor from the outside rather than the inside.

Sayde looked around the store taking in all the different sighs and items they had to offer, she would have to come back to explore the other floors in the future. After a while Trisha said her goodbyes and Sayde decided to stay longer and browse through the store. She did some shopping, purchasing some groceries and household items such as bedsheets and extra pillows. The cashiers were super nice and the attendants were very helpful and knowledgeable about their products which helped her get what she wanted without any trouble at all.

Within a few minutes she had gotten all what she needed and was kindly escorted to the cashing station and wished a great night.

As Sayde emerged from the supermarket in the nearby town, her hands full with the shopping cart, she couldn't help but enjoy the different atmosphere that was slowly happening in front of her. The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm glow over the bustling streets lined with shops and cafes.

As she approached her Jeep parked nearby, her eyes caught sight of a familiar figure standing by his own car not far from hers—it was Audeion. Surprise and delight lit up Sayde's face as she realised who it was. She would remember those cinnamon coloured curls anywhere.

"Mr. Dahael?" Sayde called out, a smile spreading across her face.

Audeion turned at the sound of his name, a grin mirroring Sayde's as he recognized her.

"Sayde! Hey! What's up? Fancy meeting you here of all places." he exclaimed, making his way over to join her by the vehicles. Their eyes briefly met, and Sayde felt a curious flutter in her chest, she took a deep breath.

They met near the cars and she placed her groceries and house items into the back of her jeep before exchanging greetings with him. They hugged, relishing the warmth of each other before pulling away. "My name's Audeion by the way Dahael is my surname, sorry for the confusion."

"Oh? Audeion? Your name is very unique, I like it." Audeion smiled at her before explaining to her that he had just finished running some errands because he was here for a meeting and the meetings had finished about 20 mins ago. He had decided to grab something quick at the store before heading back home.

He paused, taking her in fully, there was something about her that captured his attention. When their eyes met it felt like time stopped for a moment, everything about her seemed to intoxicate him. Her soft chuckle in the background seemed to echo around his brain, the dull sound of one word bounced around his brain like that one screensaver, "Mate."

She smiled gesturing to the bag of groceries in her hand, "I was just picking up a few things for dinner as well as a few odds and ends.

"What are the odds of us crossing paths here in this town?" Audeion chuckled, his eyes sparkling with amusement. "Seems like fate wanted us to meet again."

Sayde giggled a bit taking in the way his eyes sparkled when he spoke to her and his semi dimpled smile and the way the breeze simpled to dance and play with his curls.

They fell into an easy conversation as they leaned against their respective vehicles, catching up on each other's lives since their last meeting.

"So how do you like my hometown? Is it to your liking?"Audeion asked with genuine curiosity.

"It is super cool. I like how closed off it is and how close to nature everything is."

"Mhmm," he said. "That's one of my favourite things too."

As they spoke, the sky above them shifted into hues of orange and pink, painting a picturesque backdrop to their conversation.

"It's nice to see a familiar face even outside of Daysville," Audeion remarked, his gaze meeting Sayde's with warmth.

Sayde nodded in agreement. "Absolutely, it's funny how life brings people together in unexpected places."

They laughed a little then looked around noticing the sun had gone down and the street lights were the only thing illuminating around them.

His heart lurched as he felt a strange tug building at the back of his head. A small voice in the back of his head said, "Does she not feel our bond?" He shook his head as if trying to get the voice out of his head.

He reached out and took a spec out of her hair. She stepped back confused and he smiled at her and showed her the spec of lint that was in her hair.

"Are we collecting dust bunnies now?" he said with a laugh.

She looked at him and shook her head, "Must have been from moving my stuff into the new house I got."

"Speaking of which, I should probably head back home and start preparing dinner," Sayde said, a hint of reluctance in her voice.

She had just realised the last thing she ate for the day was the food at the cafe this morning. She had gotten so caught up with moving and unpacking that she had forgotten to eat lunch.

"Oh, well i'm sorry to keep you from your food Miss Sayde what was your last name again?"

"Bloom."

"Miss Bloom." Audeion nodded understandingly. "It was wonderful running into you, perhaps we'll have another unexpected meeting in the future."

"Third times a charm Mr. Dahael," she said, offering a freckled smile.

They said their goodbyes, each carrying with them the warmth of connection and the reminder that life was full of surprises, no matter where they were.

As Sayde drove away in her Jeep, a sense of contentment washed over her. The chance meeting in the neighbouring town had turned a grocery run into a delightful encounter, leaving her with a smile on her face and a fluttering heart.

A small migraine formed at the back of her head.
