Danielle's POV
"I miss you," Haerin whispered in my ear, wrapping her arms around my waist from behind as I was cutting some vegetables.
"You took a two hours nap baby," I said putting the knife down and placing my hand on the back of her head as she kissed my neck.
"I know but I still miss you."
I laughed and tilted my head to the side to give her more access to my neck, "I miss you too."
"So what are you cooking?" She asked resting her chin on my shoulder.
"Hopefully steak," I don't really cook. This is my first time making an actual proper meal. I wasn't going to but I thought maybe I'd try and learn so Haerin doesn't have to do all the cooking.
She laughed and kissed my cheek, "Let me help you."
I hit her hand making her pull it back, "Go sit down and let me cook for you."
"Why though?" She asked.
I turned around and cupped her face, "Because..you bought me an entire island and I wanna do things in return for this beautiful gift," I said.
She shook her head, "You don't have to."
"I know but I want to..and it's kind of aesthetic too," I said making her laugh and shake her head in disbelief, "That's fine with me. I'll just sit and watch a beautiful woman cook for me."
I smiled and pecked her lips, "You make me happy," I said. She smiled and I pulled her into a hug, "You make me happy too," she said quietly.
"Come on, go cook for me. I'm hungry," she said pulling back from the hug, leaving a gentle slap on my ass.
"Stop that, it's turning me on," I said biting the tip of my finger sarcastically making her laugh.
She sat down on the high stool, watching me cook as we talked about random things so I can stay entertained.
"Oh my god yes. I love that song.." I cleared my throat, taking the wooden spatula.
"..You can dance, you can jive. Having the time of you life," I sang going towards Haerin who was laughing at my singing and dancing.
"Ohh see that girl, watch that scene. Digging the dancing Queen," then I started doing the beats with my mouth, taking Haerin's hands and making her stand up, "Friday nights and the lights are low. Looking out for a place to go," I sang turning around and dancing on her.
"Where they play the right music, getting in the swing. You come to look for a king," I sang in a deeper voice making her laugh and wrap her arms around my waist, "Anybody could be that guy. Night is young and the music's high. With a bit of rock music, everything is fine."
Before I got to the next part, I started smelling smoke, "Oh my god!" I ran towards it and removed it from the stove, placing it in the sink and pouring water on it.
I turned around and looked at Haerin, "You're gonna have to wait a tiny bit longer," I said making her laugh.
"I don't mind, I'm enjoying this."

"Oh this is good, like really good," Haerin said chewing on the steak.
"They don't call me chief Danielle for nothing," I joked making her laugh then started eating with her.
After we finished dinner, she poured us some drinks and we sat outside in the balcony that was in our bedroom, "I like reading, it's entertaining," she said taking a sip from her drink.
