Benny's POV
I glance around at my bandmates, their smiles and nods signaling their readiness to surprise Ariana. I sling my guitar over my back and request two wireless mics. As I strut across the stage, I catch Damon's eye. "Hey, Day?" He grins, "What's up, Bens?" "Give me a beat, would you?" With a smile, he starts crafting his own rhythm on the drums, ensuring it's not too overpowering.
Approaching Amelia, I plant a kiss on her cheek. She grins and playfully pushes me away. "Coachella, let's hear it for the baddest female bass player!" I announce into my mic, prompting screams from the crowd. With a graceful bow, Amelia acknowledges the applause.
Glancing back at the crowd, I flash a grin. "Sooo, I've met someone," I announce, igniting screams from the audience. Sensing Ari's gaze on me, I turn back to the crowd. "And let me tell you, she's absolutely amazing. Now, I've never been one for grand romantic gestures, but this woman? She brings out the romantic in me," I say with a smile. Fallon chimes in with laughter, "It's true, guys. Benny's gone all mushy on us." The crowd chuckles as I shoot Fallon a playful glare. "Thanks, Fallon," I say before turning back to the crowd. "You know, I'm pretty damn sure you all know her too," I add, locking eyes with Ariana, who covers her mouth, clearly smiling.
"She's an incredible singer, so incredible that the band and I are considering bringing her out here to sing with us. What do you say, guys? Would you like to meet my girlfriend?" I tease the crowd, a smile playing on my lips.
My bandmates are cheering loudly, their excitement contagious as the crowd joins in chanting "YES." Glancing back at Ariana, I beam with a smile. "How about it, baby? Want to come out here and sing with me?" I ask, extending my hand towards her. Ariana giggles and nods eagerly. "Can someone get my girlfriend her earpieces?" I call out, the crowd roaring with anticipation as they try to catch a glimpse of who's joining me on stage.
As soon as Ariana steps onto the stage, the crowd erupts into wild cheers and screams. I can even make out some exclamations of "No way!" amidst the chaos. Ariana looks adorable as she walks to the center of the stage, offering a sweet wave to the crowd. When she reaches me, she grabs the extra mic I had prepared. Leaning in, she plants a kiss on my lips, sending the crowd into an even louder frenzy at the sight. Ariana turns to the crowd with a giggle. "Heyyyyy Coachella," she says into the mic. "Hey, everyone, meet my beautiful girlfriend," I announce into the mic, prompting laughter from Ariana and my bandmates. "Baby, you're so crazy. I love you," Ariana says before kissing me once more.
"Alright, folks, we're on a tight schedule, but I've got the perfect song," I announce into the mic, turning to glance at Ariana. "I know you know it because you were singing it the other morning," I add with a grin. Ariana smiles back at me eagerly. "Okay, what is it?" she asks, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. I turn back to the crowd, excitement building. "Do you all love those wild ones?" I shout into the mic, igniting screams and cheers from the crowd. Ariana laughs beside me, sharing in the excitement. She then glances at Amelia, who nods approvingly for Ari to join me in singing this song.
