Coachella 2024
Ariana's POV
I'm standing on the side of the stage, heart racing, as Benny just surprised me and everyone else by introducing me as her girlfriend and singing with her and the band. I'm literally on cloud nine right now. We just performed one of my favorite songs together, "Wild Ones." I'm so in love with her, it's not even funny. I would literally do anything for her.
As I'm standing here watching her, I can't help but have flashbacks from the last time we were here at Coachella in 2018. I was performing, and I remember seeing her and the band walk up to us. Who would have thought that six years ago, I would be here again, watching her perform, now as her girlfriend and so deeply in love with her.

Flashback 2018
"I love you, Coachella!" I yell into the mic, feeling the adrenaline rush through me. Running off to the side, I see my mom, Victoria, Courtney, and Mac waiting for me. "Oh my goodness, baby, you were amazing!" my mom gushes, and I shriek with excitement, hugging them all.
"Girl, you looked sexy out there," Vic tells me, and I beam. "Yeah, Ari, you did amazing!" Court adds.
"Thank you, babes! I had so much fun out there. The crowd was amazing," I say, running over to Mac and jumping into his arms. I wrap my legs around him and hug him tightly. "You did amazing, baby," he says, and I smile. "Thanks, my love."
"Oh my gosh, there they are!" Courtney squeals. I jump down from Mac's embrace and look over, seeing North Side Bound walking closer to us. "Damn, they are soooo fine," Vic says, eyeing Bowie. I can't help but stare at Benny. She's soooo my type—tall, muscular, tatted, with thick, full wavy hair. And don't get me started on her smile and dimples. The girls all know about my innocent crush on her, but they don't tease too much when Mac's around because he gets jealous.
"I can't believe we get to be so close and watch them perform," Courtney squeals. "Here comes Benny," Vic teases, elbowing me. I roll my eyes and blush. I hear Mac scoff. "Babe, do we really have to stay here and watch them? They're not even that great," he says, making all of us gasp, including my mom.
"We already talked about this, Malcolm. And yes, I'm going to stay here with my mom and friends to watch our favorite band perform," I tell him sternly.
Lately, Mac and I have been arguing so much. I know he's using again, mostly taking pills and still smoking weed. There's only so much I can take.
"Whatever, I'm going to go hang out with the boys," he says, walking away. I can't help but feel sad that he doesn't want to stay with me but would rather be with his friends getting high.
"Where's he going?" Courtney asks. I sigh and quickly wipe my tears. "Probably to get high, but honestly, I'm just over it all," I say to her.
We then hear a smooth and raspy voice, "Hello, ladies." I turn around and look up to see her. Fuck, she's so sexy. There Benny stood, tall and handsome, wearing a black t-shirt with the sleeves cut off and the bottom of the shirt cut off, sitting right on her belt. Her arms and toned muscles were on full display, showing her full tattoo sleeves. She was wearing fitted black faded jeans and her Chucks. Her wavy hair was styled perfectly, with her curtain bangs hanging down but not in her face. She had the perfect nose hoop ring that fit her cute button nose.
