As the first rays of July sunlight pierced through the curtains, my eyes fluttered open, greeted by the gentle embrace of dawn. The air was crisp with the promise of a new day, carrying whispers of anticipation and possibility. With each breath, I felt the weight of expectation and excitement settle in my chest, a familiar sensation that tingled with the energy of beginnings, heightened by the knowledge that this marked the start of my last year pursuing my Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

With practiced reverence, I began my morning ritual, bowing my head in prayer. In the quiet solitude of my room, I felt a surge of gratitude for the love and support that surrounded me, a warmth that radiated from the walls adorned with memories of family and home.

Dressed in the intricate patterns of my black chikankari kurti, I adorned myself with delicate jhumkas, bangles and a bindi, each piece a reflection of my inner strength and grace. As I carefully applied kajal to my eyes and lipstick to my lips, I felt a sense of empowerment, knowing that I was ready to face the world with confidence.

The mirror reflected back a vision of determination and resilience, qualities that had carried me through countless challenges and triumphs.

Descending the stairs, a tantalizing aroma enveloped me, weaving its way through the house. The soft hum of morning activity wrapped around me, familiar and comforting. As I entered the dining hall, the sight of my mother's carefully crafted pulao breakfast filled me with contentment. Each grain cooked to perfection with her loving touch, I settled down to savor every delicious bite, grateful for the warmth and love infused into each mouthful.

With each step, I felt the anticipation building within me, a restless energy that danced beneath my skin.

Beside my father, I embarked on the journey to Renaissance Institute of Management, the streets of Bengaluru alive with the rhythm of a city awakening of a new day. The car carried us through winding streets and bustling intersections, each turn a reminder of the journey that lay ahead.

Arriving at the entrance of the university, my heart swelled with a mixture of nerves and excitement.

As I locked eyes with Preeti at the entrance of the university, a familiar surge of joy and relief washed over me. Preeti Raghuvanshi, my constant companion since our very first day at Renaissance Institute of Management, stood before me, a reassuring presence amidst the nerves and excitement of a new academic year. Our bond, forged through shared laughter and late-night study sessions, remained unbreakable as ever.

With a shared smile that spoke volumes, we embraced each other tightly, drawing strength from the familiarity of our friendship. In the morning light, a whirlwind of emotions swept through me. Anticipation mingled with a hint of trepidation as we exchanged rapid-fire chatter, discussing our hopes and fears for the day ahead.

Together, we bowed our heads in silent prayer, seeking blessings for the journey ahead. Our hearts beat in unison, a silent plea echoing through the corridors of our souls: let us be classmates once more, let us navigate this new chapter of our lives together.

With a sense of determination coursing through my veins, we stepped onto the threshold of Renaissance Institute of Management.

The college's facilities had become familiar to me over the past four years, each one holding its own allure. As I moved through the halls, I couldn't help but marvel at the canteen's tempting array of dishes and sleek design, a favorite spot for a quick bite between classes. The financial aid office served as a reminder of the support available to students like us, who were fortunate enough to have received scholarships to pursue our education. Stepping into the technology hub, I marveled at the state-of-the-art equipment and resources at my disposal, grateful for the opportunities they provided. And the student wellness center, with its calming atmosphere, which offers a welcome retreat from the stresses of academic life. As I navigated the familiar halls of the college, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunities that had come my way over the past four years, thanks to the support of  scholarship I and Preeti received.

AUTHOR'S POV :-

As Riya and Preeti approached the notice board, their hearts raced with anticipation. Scanning the list of class allocations, they held their breath, fingers tracing the rows of names until they found their own.

Riya's eyes widened with delight as she spotted their names in the G section. "Preeti, look! We're in the same class again!" she exclaimed, her voice tinged with excitement.

Preeti's face lit up with a grin as she read the names. "No way! We hit the jackpot!" she exclaimed, pulling Riya into a spontaneous hug. "I can't believe we get to be classmates for another year!"

Riya returned the hug, her heart brimming with happiness. "I know, right? It feels like fate wants us to stick together," she said, her voice filled with affection for her best friend.

As they stepped into the new G section, Riya glanced around the room, taking in the familiar faces of their classmates and the excitement buzzing in the air. "Here's to another an last year of adventures, laughs, and late-night study sessions," she said, raising her fist in a playful gesture.

Preeti nodded enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. "Absolutely! We'll ace this year together, just like we always do," she declared, a determined glint in her eye.

With a shared laugh and a few happy tears, they made their way to the back of the classroom, settling into their seats at the last bench. It was a rarity for Riya, the class topper, and Preeti, who consistently scored well, to find themselves at the back, but they relished the chance to share whispered conversations and inside jokes away from the prying eyes of the teacher.

As they sat side by side, their bond grew stronger, anchoring them in the comforting familiarity of friendship amidst the new beginnings of the academic year.
