It was the night of homecoming, Bucky showed up at Lia's in his pink and black tux.
"You look beautiful Lia baby." He said
"Thank you.. you look handsome." She said
"I have something for you.." he said as he pulled out a ring box.
"Bucky.." she whispered
"This is a promise ring to you baby. You are the only woman for me, the one I want to one day marry." He said as he opened the box.
She saw the heart shaped diamond ring, he showed her the inscription on the inside that said "I love you."
"James, oh my gosh I love it." She said
"And to show you just how much I love you, I got myself a band to let everyone know that I'm taken and off the market." He said as he slid the ring on her finger.
She saw the black band on his finger, she kissed him. "I love you so much." She said
She grabbed her clutch and they left for the dance which was "pirates of the Caribbean theme"
Lia and Bucky won King and Queen of homecoming.
