After getting home, I checked my pocket and placed the rock on my nightstand. I smiled as I brushed my finger over the small, sloppy letters. Afterwards, I did my usual summer routine. Wake my (parent) up, and go to sleep.

The next day, I woke up, took a shower, and ate breakfast. I checked the time, it being around 1, I remembered I never asked what time we were supposed to be at the quarry. I went to my room and pulled out my yearbook. The only person whose name I knew fully was Stan's and I was not going to call him. I looked at the back of the book, knowing there was a memorial page to the kids that went missing. "Betty..." I whispered before looking up at the rock on my nightstand.
I peeled my eyes away and turned towards the book, finding "In loving memory of Georgie Denbrough." Remembering hearing Bill say his name at the barrens, I went to the living room and found the phonebook. After a minute or two, I found Denbrough's number and called. It rang for a while before an older woman picked up hastily.
"Uh, excuse me, sorry, is there a Bill Denbrough there?" I whispered. I heard a small sigh before a muffled shout of his name being called. A few seconds of silence passed "h-hello," was heard through the phone. "hi, sorry, I forgot to ask when you guys were going to the Quarry."
There was a short hum before he answered, "I'm ab-about to leave in five minutes." I nodded, even though he couldn't see me, "alright. Uh, are you sure you're okay with me going."
"Of course, I'll see y-you there," I lightly chuckled. I smiled and said bye, hanging up. I knew the way to the Quarry, but I never went to the top of the cliff. I knew Bill was going to beat me there since I was walking. When I did get to the trail, I noticed everybody's bikes before footsteps behind me made me jump. Beverly stood there, with way shorter hair than before.
"Uh, hey," I waved to her, even though she was just a few feet behind me. She smiled and waved back. "I like your hair," I pointed at it, before playing with my fingers. "Thanks," she said. "I'm Beverly, by the way. I don't think I caught your name," "uh (F/N)," I replied, not maintaining eye contact.
"Well, you coming with," she pointed at the trail towards the cliff. I quickly shook my head, "no, no, I'll just wait at the bottom."
She nodded and patted my shoulder. "I'll meet you down there." I nodded as I waved her goodbye. She went up the trail and I went down. Finally I was at the bottom. And saw the boys at the top. I quickly rushed over and sat on a rock, reloading my Handycam. As I began recording, a figure leaped from the rocks, and I recognized the red hair.
I smiled as she emerged from the water, though you couldn't see much from the zoomed in camera, she looked fine. Soon, one by one, they all jumped down. I giggled, watching their small figures jump into the water. The boys looked back at the cliff before Beverly pointed towards the shore, where I was. I waved to everybody, and they waved back. Soon I watched them play chicken, splash each other, and just swim into deeper waters.
Soon after I came closer to shore I was able to hear some of the conversations. "Hey (F/N)," Richie shouted at me. I had my camera down, as I looked up at him with a smile, "yes? You don't have to yell."
"Need a nude model! I know a guy!" He stood up from the water and began to flex. I laughed as I held the cam up to him again, recording his poses before slowly planning to Stanley, something I did unintentionally in all of my videos.
About five minutes later, Beverly came out to sit on the rock beside me while the boys kept playing around. "Can I see some of the shots?" She asked me, I handed her the camera and she reviewed some of the videos while I looked out towards the boys. "So you like Stan?" I gasped and turned towards her. "What?" "Dude, every video on here just cuts away to him. Did you even know you were doing that," she giggled.
