The Means to War!

Chapter 10

Ghost nodded his head and turned back around and like lighting he put the pieces of his sniper rifle on and put blue looking bullets that Joey built using some type of meteor that he found years back. He kept the big ass rock in their truck and then stowed it away in a safer location for a rainy day like today. Then he took a piece of it with him and experimented and produced a different energy reading and metal that glowed blue. Joey then said farewell and before jumping down the crane using a rope, he planted a camera right next to Ghost so he could monitor him and get a good view for what was about to happen. Joey then slides down the rope as Ghost laid flat and was lining up for a shot with his regular scope on and not his night vision scope because he said it was a pain in the ass when he got blinded when the light turned back on.

Joey then ran around then guards and met up with his team and let them crow around him to see Ghost in action. There on the screen Ghost was still and did not move except for his trigger finger and off to his side was the bullets Joey made for him. Ten bullets all laid right beside him while the rest was in a box not too far away from his reach. Everything was silent then Joey saw Ghost pull the trigger and he did not move and inch from the recoil. He saw from his advantage from the ground that the bullet hit the window and then went through but other than about which he did not know.

Then it was like watching something on repeat before even a split-second Ghost had already reloaded and was firing his weapon and then another and another until he shot ten bullets in under 15 seconds like his last record that Joey recorded. Then Joey clicked the camera to his vest and made sure the light level was too low for anyone but him to see and ran in the rain and surprised attacked a couple of men and before you knew it, they were lying on the ground with their necks sliced. The ones that Joey lefty behind that were confused were killed in a hail of gun fire from his teammates backing him up. Joey then led the way towards the door and shot the two men who saw him in the alarm light above there heads they both yelled and then laid motionless. He then ran quickly inside and there he encountered several men that were waiting for him because they heard the guns shots, he quickly shot the men as they shot back but there shot went wide as his found their marks shooting them in the necks, chest, and head.

Joey then turned on his night vision he installed on the mask built into the eyes that could be turned on and off by a switch on the side of the mask. He then in the comm told his team on the ground to turn on there night vision so that they could see because he was sure that most if not some of the people on the ship had there night vision on as well. Joey and his team move slowly and quietly checking the winding hallways that were like a maze and checking the rooms that were on the first floor. He knew from the schematics about the layout of the ship, but it was still confusing with the rocking, blaring alarms, and a surprising number of enemies that appear. Even though Joey was thrown for a loop about the size of the ship and the many different doors that lead to several of a same size room that were in his option a break room.

He killed a couple more men that were hanging around a stair way that led down to the second floor. He then ran down the stairs two at a time so that he could reach the second level quickly and clear that floor before the power went back on. When he did there was a long hallway then after fifteen feet it divided into two different directions. Joey checked the first door and he saw that the door was steel with a bolt lock and a handle to open it. Once he did there was a small room with a bed on the right and a desk on the left and in the middle was a window that was rounded.

In the green covered springy bed was a guy reading with a flashlight and he did not even turn around when he heard his door open. Joey then quickly drew his knife from his side and with perfect aim chucked the knife with a huff. The guy finally looked up put was too little to late when he saw the knife hurling towards him, he could not even get a scream out because it stabbed him right in between the eyes killing him instantly. Joey then retrieved his knife and looked up at the ceiling as he heard his other teammates clear the other rooms with a hail of gun fire and some stealthy knife stabbing. He saw that there were four circular lights and when he looked at the bed with the bloody guy, he felt the metal bars that were just like the ones in the light house.
