The Means to War!

Chapter 15

Joey knew though that sniping was only going to go so far without the tanks blowing them up first, but Joey had a solution to that if his theory was correct and his plan B was in the mist of all the chaos. He then smiled as he saw a light shine on one of the tanks. He told Ghost to fire there on the side of the tank. As he ducked as the bullet filled the air and unfortunately one of guys did not duck down quick enough and got shot as he screamed in pain. One of the medics tended to him as everyone was returning fire back at the men. It was just then that one of the tanks fired and it missed by a foot and exploding right next to the building.

Joey then saw Ghost take a breath from watching his shoulders go up and then he released it when he shoulders went down and then he took the shot and fired. It was like watching in anticipation as the bullet speed towards the shiny object that was on the side of the tank. It was one moment all calm and tranquil besides the bullets being fired and then a giant wave of explosive electricity hit as well as exploding the tank into a fire ball that set the people near it on fire or blew them away into fiery chunks of bone and flesh.

There was a blood and body parts that were flung into the air and then gravity took effect, and it was like a scene from a bad horror scene. Joey was disgusted as the rest of the men that survived the blast were covered in blood and gore. The blast knocked out their equipment and the tanks that were not near the explosion that incapacitated them. Luckily Joey's EMP was special that did not affect his equipment or the others, so it was like shooting fish from a barrel. By the time he was done with killing the soldiers that were not in the tank he was breathing heavy and was nervous because he saw a little movement with the tanks. Then Con walked to the front of the group with a darn RPG that was built to take down a tank.

Joey and the group except Con ducked into a ball and covered themselves as he blasted the tanks and Joey could hear over the explosion a noise that was a helicopter blades would make. He then saw two coming in from the north and then over there noise that they made he also felt a rumble under neath his feet and he knew that his group was about to encounter heavy resistance. He looked and saw more soldiers and tanks coming and he knew that they needed to take the high ground before it was taken from them.

Joey told Con to shoot the tanks in the distance and then yelled for Ghost to try and snip the helicopters that were in bound. He then heard gunfire and the hail of bullets started to rain down. Con was quick enough to duck and cover as a couple of bullets just missed where he was. He then heard gun fire below him and he peeked over the rail to see that a couple of the men or soldiers that were shooting at them were now dead. Just then the helicopters then pulled over them and a cord was lowered down, and Joey was not having a battle on the roof top. He grabbed one of his grenades and waited for the right time to do what he did when he was little to one of his brothers that got on his nerves.

With a skill that he used to do when he played baseball for at least a year or two and flicked the grenade straight into the helicopter's interior He heard a curse and a yell and then the whole helicopter exploded and the man that was trying to slide down the rope was going for a ride as he screamed as he was jerked and wobbled. The helicopter that was still on fire flew sideways and then it crashed down with a big BOOM! It was a couple of yards away, but he could still feel the shock wave as the thing truly exploded and kill everyone who was in the helicopter. Joey then heard a sound of an RPG going off in the mass of soldiers he and everyone else ran and ducked down as a corner of the building blew up that shook the building, and the rubble flew outwards. Were the corner of the left side of the building was, was now a gaping hole that was not good as the enemies were trying to take shots into the building to hit people.

As Joey and everyone else who was on the roof that had yet to get up and attack the gunfire was still going off almost hitting a couple of people now that some of there cover was destroyed. He then heard over all the gunfire that there was an evacuation in about thirty minutes if they could hold out, but Joey knew that they would not hold out for that long. He then saw as he got up and shot back at the people out of the corner of his eyes a school bus that was more built like a fancy tank with armor plating and reinforced glass bullet proof windows. Joey was not going to question why someone did not already try and use the darn thing in the first place.
