Chapter 11

Joey and his team were just a couple of minutes from reaching their destination and like anybody else would do when they had nothing else to do Joey created something using his knowledge that he learned from books about recreation and deconstruction of something was to think big and not small. So, he took the 0.50"/70 (12.7 mm) GAU 19 and created something better using a barrel off a minigun and an ammo container off a M3M FN Herstal MG and combined it with the GAU-19 together and got a brand-new gun that could not jam. Ghost all the while was just looking at Joey and the look in his eyes said it all that he was completely nuts to do that. Joey just ignored that and instead thought of something else he could do and so he had a roll around 360 degree turning mounted gun and it could be fitted in a golfing bag because the mount was detachable and foldable to carry. He also adds a laser pointer and a metal shield that he took off one of the other guns and attached it to that, so it was hard to shoot the person behind the gun and the metal was light weight too.

Once it was nighttime Joey stopped fiddling with it and joined the others once the sub came up to the surface and what they saw was impressive. The oil rig had four giant pillars and a lower platform that would raise and lower any goods and send them up to the main platform. They unloaded the cargo and other things that came from the ships that passed underneath the platform. There were three levels and both from what Joey saw on the omni scope that the buildings had the same color, and same exact design. The color of the buildings because of the spotlights that were everywhere Joey saw it was a dull grey with what Joey assumed was windows and of course a door but he could not see the windows or the doors to see what kind of door or window it was.

Joey then saw that all the platforms were metal, and they were grated and all three of those levels had boxes that were cargo containers but as for what was or is in them Joey had no idea. He then was snapped out of his observation of the place when a wave splashed him in the face, and he spit out the water that got in his mouth. He was happy sort of that it was nighttime but the ocean near the oil platform was a little choppy today. Joey then saw Ghost who was right beside him was holding Joey mask so that he could put it on, and Joey nodded his head in thanks. Once Joey put on his mask, he slid down the submarines right side and landed in the boat that his team blew up while he was observing the place.

He landed on the boat and saw that everyone was already on the boat and only him and Ghost were the ones left and now everyone was on the boat because Ghost slid in beside him right when he landed. Well with that settled Joey drove the boat up to one of the giant poles that were made of metal and concrete that had a metal latter that lead to the main platform and one by one they started to climb the latter. Joey was the last one since he had to tie the boat to the latter and make sure it did not hit the pole too hard or else it would destroy the boat and sink it. He then climbed the latter and once he did that, he looked around like his teammates were doing and they were lucky because no one saw them yet. It was at this time that karma caught with Joey's thoughts when a man and four others saw them all and Ghost and two others shot at the enemy and killed four out of five men as the other men ran back into the building door that was in.

Joey and the rest then heard the alarms being triggered and they knew at that time that stealth was not going to win this round and people poured in in droves and had weapons pointed at Joey and his team. In that split second all hell broke loose, and Joey and the rest of his team opened fired as they all took cover behind a metal cargo crate that was off to there left. Ghost threw a grenade into their ranks, and it ignited and exploded, and chunks of bone, flesh, blood, and guns rained down killing more people who were not that close to the blast. Joey shot three people in the chest tearing through there bullet proof vest like it was butter just like what Ghost did to that window on the ship. Then the gun fire stopped, and he and the rest of his team looked over the cargo box and saw that Ghost and someone else flanked behind the enemy and shot them all.
