The Last One

3. AT FIRST SIGHT

                 POV:ROY
      That day I was searching for my book which fell down and I dashed a girl. When I looked up to apologize,  I saw a cute new joinee saying sorry. There I was admiring the girl not paying attention to the surroundings. Suddenly she pushed me to a side and shouted "Hey, watch out!" Then I noticed that, she pushed me out of danger.
            And she went away just like that. Wow!! She is such a cute girl who cares about the people around. Well there were many girls who show there arrogance for a little beauty. But she had this aura around her. So, I fell in love just like that....💘. But the moment she saw me I was wearing a mask so she never knew how I looked 🤦. Years passed and we all graduated from school. Soon I joined college. But I think  we are really meant to be together. She was in my class!!! The day I saw her, I was hella excited for college. I changed myself completely for her. I started to become the class topper and started to interact with everyone.

After a few months, I saw her looking dull. I asked her friends to know what happened. They said her grandpa died. And that's when she turned around and looked deep into my eyes. Then she came near me and said "Hey boy! Let's be friends." And that's how I got closer to my Jenny.

            POV: JENNIFER
        I woke up to some headache. I looked around and saw a hospital setup in front of me. I looked around and saw a doctor coming. Then Roy came rushing toward me and put his hand in mine. He asked whether I was ok or not. I simply nodded at his question. He went outside and called Catty. She came and hugged me tight. She said "Oh my god! I need to tell you something." I asked her to tell the matter. She said " You need to love Roy and spend your life with him." But the thought of relationship made my bones shiver. Out of anger, I shouted  " I need no one to peek into my life. And who the hell do you think you are to decide what I should do?" She ran away crying. I started crying and drifted of to sleep.

                  POV: ROY
       I was sitting near the room, when I heard a shout from Jenny's room. And I saw Catherine coming out crying. I asked her about what happened. She wiped her tears and said" Roy, she might look like this but she had a bad past. His name was Jalansh. He came and proposed her, and Jen gladly accepted his proposal. But after a one month he started to show his true colours. He used to physically abuse her, used her and her money. With a great difficulty she came out of it. From that day she lost her hope on life and love. To start a new life she changed her school." So that's what my girl had to go through? I promised myself not hurt her. But if I did, I will kill myself.(The author melted😅🙈)
 

             POV: JENNIFER
          I woke up from my sleep and sat there thinking about my past. But I felt sorry for shouting like that on Catty. She came in to the room just then. I asked her to come near me. I said" Baby, I am truly sorry. I never meant to hurt you like that. You know about my past, right? I had a flashback and snapped at you. I am sorry." She hugged me and said "it's okay, I love you."

             POV: AUTHOR
            Ha ha ha ha....it's my time to finally shine😁. Jenny took her medicines after Catty left. She stood near the window and cried silently remembering her past, George, her family problems and her condition. She went back to bed and slept in sorrow. Roy observed everything.

He wanted to hug her and say" I WILL EVEN DESTROY THE WORLD FOR YOU MY JENNY. I WILL STAND BESIDE IN YOUR LOWEST POINT OF LIFE. I WILL BE THERE FOR YOU MY GIRL."( I melted for Roy and his love for Jenny). But he knew it wasn't the time for it. He had to make her feel safe and comfortable with him. She has to heal from her past. He went near her bed and started telling her about a girl. It was Jenny in Roy's eyes.
        He said " Jenny! I need to tell you about a girl. She is a cute, innocent girl. She has a kind heart. One day when I was going back home, I saw that girl near an orphanage. I got curious and went near to hear a little boy say thank you sister, you are the best. Then the care taker of those kids came and thanked her. The girl said I will be helping you guys and doing service till the day I breath the last. I melted for her at that spot. That girl was making me fall really hard for her. I was loving her from 8 years and even now, this minute, this second 😘. I love you, my queen." And with that he put his hand into her hands and slowly drifted off to sleep. He just had one meal that day and slept near her bed on the floor. OH THIS BOY IS THE STANDARD😍. I hope she falls in love with him.

             POV: CATHERINE
           After she apologised, I said her that I was leaving. But after I reached home I remembered that I have to give her the prescription the doctor gave her. About her medicines and food she had to take. I went to the hospital. I heard a male voice coming from her room narrating her a story. I stopped near the wall and heard everything. It was Roy speaking to Jennifer. But Jenny was asleep. I was happy knowing that she was going to the right hands. But I wonder how she will react.
