One month has passed from when the candidates first arrived and they acclimated to their new lives well. More candidates had showed up to Monster City, asking if they too could live there as well. It turned out that the Dungeon Monolith made Monster City easy to locate for travelers.
A small troop of Goblins. Unlike what Leumas expected. They were shorter than most coming up to an average of four and a half feet. Their skins were varying shades of green, some dark, some light. All of which were quite polite and happy to help in any way.
Unlike the goblins in the stories the humans knew these goblins were similar in appearance with pointed ears and slightly longer noses.
Several Dwarfs had come, looking similar to what stories described on Earth. Short and stout and with beards. They didn't come from anywhere and stumbled upon Monster City by chance and requested to live there, which Leumas happily agreed to. Most of them with Blacksmiths and he knew they would be useful one day.
When the Blacksmiths saw the Smithy that James had placed in the north side of town, they immediately asked about working for him. It was a Divine Smithy after all, so the quality drew them in immediately.
A single white feather, winged, woman who claimed to be a Valkyrie, visited a few times. Her black hair in contrast to her radiant pale skin and blue eyes, her name was Alessia. She stated that on the other side of the mountains was where the town she came from was. It was a Mid-grade Town called Tempest Town but had a very low population.
And lastly four men who claimed to be Demons arrived as well. Each with a set of horns on their heads. Each with black eyes and tanned skin.
Much like the dwarves, they had been wandering for days only eating what they could catch and find. As such when they saw the walls of Monster City they had immediately ran to the gates and were surprised when a Human happily greeted them.
It turned out several of the races had Humans in their worlds. The Demons were skeptical at first but when they were fed and given living accommodations for free they assimilated easily and even asked about work.
Leumas had been busy. Homes were spread out. With the help of T.S. explaining everything to each new group that entered Monster City. Those who wished to live there were given I.D. cards and the option to open up shop or work in a preexisting one. Those who didn't, they were directed to the Inns, Guild Halls, and the Bank.
The Bank itself was special, they were all connected by magic being able to transfer and keep track of any currency deposited. T.S. had explained to Leumas that it was developed by a Major God of Prosperity and the Elemental God of Space.
Leumas approached the walls of Monster City. Artimis stood there with a sword on his back. "Lord Leumas." He bowed his head. "As instructed no persons was permitted to leave today."
Leumas had explained to them what the Tamer God had told him. "Good job Artimis." Leumas smiled as he patted his shoulder.
The tail behind Artimis began to sway. "My Lord, as you requested those who have a level of ten or higher have been gathered."
Two of the Demons, one Dwarf, eight Goblins, two Aquians, and four Humans stood in the area in no particular order.
"Are any of you Tamers?" Leumas questioned.
One Demon, Two Goblins, and both Aquians came forth. The only human that stood out was Grant as he rode the Molten Goat, and the Sludge Spitter hung on his back like a back pack. A third monster was on his shoulder it was a bright orange octopus.
"I see you got a hold of one of Great Octopus eggs." Leumas said with a smile.
Leumas had opened up a shop, specifically for Tamers. He used the Monster Breeding Hut. The High-Grade building allowed monsters to be used once every two weeks. Gender didn't matter, but there was no guarantee that you would get eggs either.
