Golf Ball arrived at the apartment building, finding everyone up in arms about... something. Again.

For a little bit, she'd just stand back and watch the chaos unfold. Everyone was shouting and screaming at someone else; except for Teardrop, of course. Amidst the cacophony of complete nonsense was repeated mentions of how unfair the competition was, how it was seemingly rigged, how it was driving everyone apart, and so on and so forth. GB stared at them with an unsure look on her face; looking back at what she'd been doing recently, she'd come to realize that she didn't really know either. Everything she'd been up to was mostly out of the blue by that point, having largely given up on trying to get these people to do anything besides argue and point fingers all day. From top to bottom, the Battle for Dream Island was a disorganized, unintelligible mess.

Much like most things in life.

Golf Ball sighed. She'd reach for a secret little switch that activated loud, blaring alarms that immediately directed everyone's focus; it was one of the features she built into the place, knowing that she'd probably be using it plenty. After the ear-piercing noises stopped terrorizing the hapless crowd, all their eyes were now turned to the diminutive despot. "What's going on *this* time?" She'd angrily ask, and immediately the contestants erupted once more into bickering.

Leafy would manage to squeeze her way through the crowd, getting GB's attention; another brief blare of the alarms would silence everyone yet again, allowing her to speak. "Hey, GB!" She'd give her a friendly smile and a wave. "Everyone's just a little upset about the whole point situation. Again. I'm sure you're doing a *lovely* job of running things behind the scenes, but unfortunately everyone thinks otherwise; they've got complaints about how too many points got deducted, how things changed up all of a sudden, how Rocky was immune from-" "You guys are still arguing about that?" The dimpled one interjected. "That's a surprise; you guys often find something new to argue about every minute."

Yet more chatter ensued, and the building would shake from the alarms yet again. "I know, right?" The leaf chuckled. "I think it's just fine, really; I may have zero points, but that just gives me incentive to push harder." She'd take a step closer, her voice becoming ever so slightly more quiet. "But, you know, they've been keeping me up at night with their shouting. It's kinda rude, you know? Could you maybe *please* teach them a lesson? Remind them how lucky they are?" All that was said with a sweet and peaceful tone, but the gestures she made alongside it were... quite the opposite.

"...Maybe later." Golf Ball mumbled. "But if *that's* all you're talking about, then alright: all of you get 50 bonus points." With a tap of her foot, the nearby screen would automatically update and give each of them their undeserved points. "There. Now all of you can quit your whining, and we can get back to-" Once again the arguing would resume; Bubble would somehow make her presence known despite the overlapping voices. "That's not foir!" She'd exclaim. "Since everyone got the bonus points, that means nothing changed! Oi'm still in the exact same place Oi was before Oi got given the points!" GB scoffed. "You could figure that out? *That's* a surprise." "Hey!" Bubble shouted, but the ball wouldn't care at all. "Alright, how about this: the bottom four get to keep their bonus points, but the rest lose them, since they're already at such an advantage." Another tap, and the screen would update once more.

Of course, they *still* weren't happy after all that. "That's crazy!" Pin shouted. "How come they get to have points for free *because* they're performing worse? Clearly, they're at the bottom for a reason; if they *really* wanted to win Dream Island, they would've just done better!" This comment would get her quite a few ugly looks, in particular from Leafy, Tennis Ball, and Pen. "Don't think that's true in *this* particular case." The writing utensil remarked. "The point deductions were just all over the place; it was basically random chance if you lost all your points, regardless of if you did well or not." The thumbtack simply just glared at him angrily until he finally looked away. "If you're gonna go that route, at least give us *something* to reward our hard work!" Pin concluded. "Alright. Whatever." Golf Ball replied. "Uh... five points to the top four; you still get an advantage, but not *that* much." Yet another update.
