(Under Rewrite) Light and Dark Saga

Intro

In the abyssal gulfs of space, a human made spacecraft travels through the blackness, drawing nearer and nearer to the Red Giant.

Before it soon enters Mars' orbit and descends onto its red surface during the "Present Day".

Upon its landing, three astronauts armed with a standard Khvostov 7G-02, exited the Spacecraft. The Astronauts look around in amazement at the landscape of a foreign planet, before they begin their journey.

One Astronaut leaves behind a set of footprints engraved into the surface of Mars, marking the first foot steps of Humanity among the stars.

They begin traversing the perilous Martian landscape. Walking for miles and miles without end across the Red, sandy dunes of Mars which crunched like glass under their heavy feet.

The winds howled with a ferocity that could shake the strongest of trees and crimson sand hammered the visors of their helmets.

They eventually reached a steep mountain that towered over them like a titan from Greek myth.

Soon they climbed up, stumbling along the way until they see it. An enormous, spherical, god-like entity known as The Traveler. Its presence shook them to their core as their beliefs began combating what they witnessed.

A-1 fell to his knees as the HUD in his helmet fell silent at the sight of The Traveler. Rain hammered against his helmet.

A song of Life enchanted their ears. Harmony and Peace manifested and caressed the astronaut's senses. Any and all ailments they suffered from had been cured. Wrinkles had faded, blemishes became memory and scars became nothing but smooth skin.

The spherical god floated motionless above the Martian canyon as Pure Light radiated from its godly form. Rain began to fall on the Martian landscape as storms form in the air. Air particles started to form and oxygen invaded the atmosphere. The beginning of Life on Mars, making way for plants and crops to eventually grow over the years.

The terraforming process continues as the astronauts look on in amazement as they witness the work of a God.

We called it the Traveler, and its arrival changed us forever. Great cities were built on Mars and Venus. Mercury became a garden world. Human lifespan tripled. It was a time of miracles. We stared out at the galaxy and knew that it was our Destiny to walk in the light of other stars - but the Traveler had an enemy.

A Darkness, which had hunted it for eons across the black gulfs of space. Centuries after our Golden Age began, this Darkness found us and that was the end of everything. The Collapse of our civilisation.

But it was also a beginning of one of the Most fearsome Heroes the Traveler has ever chosen, the one who shall look into the dark and kill whatever looks back.

The one they call Týr, Lord of War.

Hey whoever stumbles upon this book, just wanted to say yes I'm aware this is an absolute train wreck of a first book. Forgive me if people get constant updates, I'm still editing and perfecting it and I am new to doing this whole thing. But thank you for taking time to at least click on it, means alot.

If anyone sticks around long enough then Gee you're gonna be in for a long one. There's like centuries worth of lore I'm having to write out and integrate into the story so yeah.

Anyone has any questions then well, ask away. Criticism is fine as long as you don't blatantly insult my efforts, keep the comments peaceful.

Anyways just bare with me for a while as I get my bearings :)
