After the tumultuous events, Tay and New prepared to return to Tay's castle. As night fell and they found themselves in their shared bedroom, a heavy silence hung between them, the weight of unspoken words filling the air.
Tay hesitated for a moment before speaking up. "New, I need to tell you something," he began, his voice tinged with a hint of apprehension.
New turned to him, his expression unreadable as he waited for Tay to continue.
"I'm going to sneak out tonight to meet Princess Anya," Tay confessed, his words hanging heavy in the air.
New's brows furrowed slightly as he processed Tay's admission. "Tay, we made a deal," he reminded him, his voice calm yet firm. "We agreed not to interfere in each other's lives, remember? You don't have to tell me about this."
Tay's gaze dropped, a mixture of guilt and uncertainty clouding his features. "I know, but..." he trailed off, unable to find the right words to explain his actions.
New reached out, placing a hand on Tay's shoulder in a gesture of understanding. "It's okay, Tay," he reassured him, his tone gentle yet resolute. "You don't owe me an explanation. Just... be careful, okay?"
The night wore on and New retired to bed, seemingly unbothered by Tay's confession, Tay couldn't shake the unease that gnawed at him. A sense of hurt lingered in his heart, though he couldn't quite pinpoint its source. Despite New's outward indifference, Tay couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt for sneaking off to meet Princess Anya.
As the clock struck midnight, Tay slipped out of the castle and made his way to the forest where he and Princess Anya often met in secret. The moon cast a silvery glow over the trees, illuminating the path before him as he ventured deeper into the woods.
"Anya," Tay breathed, his voice barely above a whisper as he approached her, his longing evident in his eyes.
Princess Anya's gaze met his, her own eyes filled with a mixture of longing and affection. "Tay," she replied, her voice soft and melodic, carrying a warmth that enveloped him like a comforting embrace.
Anya's worried expression as they broke the hug, her eyes reflecting the flickering light of the moon. "Tay, are you sure it's safe for us to meet like this?" she asked, her voice laced with concern.
Tay reached out, taking her hand in his and offering her a reassuring smile. "We made a deal, Anya," he explained, his voice soft yet determined. "New doesn't need to know about this. It's just between us."
Anya nodded, her gaze searching his face for any sign of doubt or hesitation. Finding none, she returned his smile, a sense of longing evident in her eyes as she hugged Tay.
Their meeting was filled with longing, each stolen moment together a precious reminder of the love they shared. Despite the risks and uncertainties that surrounded them, Tay and Princess Anya found solace in each other's arms, their bond growing stronger with each passing day.
