Recognizing the severity of the situation, Lucas quickly bowed his head in apology to all present. "I apologize for my son's behavior," he offered, his tone contrite. "His actions were unacceptable, and I will ensure that he faces the consequences."

With a nod from King Sebastian, indicating acceptance of Lucas's apology, the tension in the room began to ease slightly. It was clear that steps would be taken to address Luke's actions and ensure accountability.

King Sebastian then dismissed everyone from his study, signalling the end of the discussion for the time being. Lucas took Luke by the arm, guiding him out of the room with a solemn expression, a silent acknowledgment of the gravity of the situation.

Left alone with Tay and New, King Sebastian regarded his son with a mixture of concern and understanding. He recognized that New needed a moment to collect himself after the confrontation, acknowledging the emotional toll it had taken on him.

With a silent nod, King Sebastian gestured for New to retreat to his room and rest, granting him the space and time he needed to recuperate. He also allowed Tay to accompany New, recognizing the importance of their support for each other in times of distress.

As Tay and New slowly walked back to New's room, the weight of the events that had transpired hung heavy between them. Yet amidst the turmoil, there was a sense of solidarity and understanding, a silent vow to weather whatever storms lay ahead together.

Meanwhile, King Sebastian returned to the festivities outside, resuming his duties as host with a sense of determination and resolve. Though the events of the day had cast a shadow over the celebration, he remained steadfast in his commitment to ensuring the well-being and happiness of his kingdom and his family.

New sat on his bed, his thoughts a whirlwind of emotions as he stared into space, the weight of recent events heavy on his shoulders. Tay watched him, a pang of empathy tugging at his heart as he observed New's vulnerable state.

Breaking the silence, Tay approached New and gently placed a hand on his shoulder, his voice soft and comforting. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked, his concern evident in his eyes.

New looked up at Tay, offering him a small smile as he nodded in response. "Yeah, I'm okay. Thanks," he replied, his voice tinged with gratitude.

Tay's gaze shifted to New's slightly bruised lips, a silent reminder of the altercation that had occurred earlier. Before he could say anything, however, there was a knock on the door.

Opening it, Tay found Fah standing on the other side, her expression filled with concern as she peeked into the room and saw New sitting there. Tay moved to invite her in, but she stopped him, passing a jar of ointment to him wordlessly before turning to leave.

Tay watched her go, a sense of admiration for her strength and resilience evident in his eyes. Without a word, he closed the door and turned back to New, offering him the jar of ointment with a gentle smile.
