CHAPTER 3

In the evening, everyone is sitting in the living room. Rayyan and Zainab are playing video games, while the others are writing names on wedding cards to invite people.

Zayn: You two should also do some work.

Rayyan: We will, definitely. But tomorrow is the bridal shower, so we're taking a break today.

Zainab: Oh no, I forgot to buy groceries for baking!

Rayyan: Are you serious? You can't even remember that?

Zayn: Imagine inviting everyone and not even preparing anything! (he laughed)

Saif: You guys can order cake from outside.

Zainab: No, I want to bake cake myself.

Rayyan: Yeah, I'll help you.

Zainab: No, you'll ruin everything.

Rayyan: At least give me a chance.

Zainab: First, let's go buy groceries together.

Zayn: I'll come too, otherwise, I'll get bored sitting at home.

Rayyan: Saif bhai, Shiza aapi, you both should come too.

Saif: We're not going to the wedding. (Sarcastically)

Rayyan: As you wish, we're going.

At the grocery store, they are standing infront of baking items , and Zainab is checking the prices of various items.

Rayyan says, "Seriously, you haven't picked up a single thing in half an hour!"

Zayn teases, "Zainab, what will be the state of your future husband?"

Zainab responds, "Now that you both are here, just stand quietly and let me shop."

Zayn leans against the shelf, and Rayyan and Zainab move to another side to continue shopping.

Meanwhile, Zayn pulls out his phone and starts using it. Suddenly, a heavy object falls on his head, and he ducks, but it hits him, and he's covered in white flour. He quickly turns around and looks up, exclaiming, "What the hell?"

He turns back and sees a girl standing behind him, acting as if nothing happened.

Zayn says rudely, "Can't you see?"

The girl responds, "Speak politely, it was an accident."

Zayn rudely replied, "I will do the same and then I'll say it was an accident."

The girl says, "Behave."

Zayn complains, "You've completely ruined my favorite shirt."

The girl replies, "And seeing you ruined my entire day, what can I do about it?"

Rayyan: Zayn, look, finally, Zainab...

Rayyan looks at Zayn, and his mouth remains open in shock as he looks ahead at the girl.

Rayyan: oh my god, Alishay!

Zayn: Do you know her?

Zainab: She's our friend.

Zayn: No way!

Rayyan: What happened? And how did you end up like this?

Zayn: Ask your friend.

Alishay: Wait, Rayyan, is he your brother?

Rayyan: Yeah, he is, but what happened?

Alishay: I accidentally dropped flour on him.

Zayn: These type of accidents don't happen with me.

Alishay: Mr., I'm not talking to you.

Zayn: I'm not talking to you either.

Zainab: You guys, leave it. Zayn, go to the car, we're coming.

Zayn rolls his eyes and walks away.

Alishay: I shouldn't say this, but your brother is very rude, Rayyan.

Zainab: Zayn is the sweetest person, what do you mean?

Rayyan: Exactly, you just don't know him yet.

Alishay: I don't want to know him either.

Zainab and Rayyan burst out laughing.

Alishay: Someone shouldn't be this arrogant.

Zayn: Look at yourself, that's all I can say.

Rayyan: Zayn, you're here again! Okay, Alishay, bye, see you tomorrow. (Rayyan pushes Zayn aside and they walk away).

At night, Saif and Zayn are lying on the bed, Saif is using his phone, and Zayn is staring at the ceiling, lost in thought. Then Zayn says, "She was the first girl I misbehaved with, but she deserved it, she thinks too highly of herself."

Saif: She couldn't have thought as much about you as you have about her.

Zayn: She must be cursing me right now.

Saif: Obviously, not every girl will fall for you.

Zayn: She's the first girl to talk to me like that.

Saif: This is something you can't seem to process. (Saif laughs)

Zayn, irritated, says, "Turn off the lights, I want to sleep."

Saif switches off the lamp.
