Chapter7- I Don't Like.. I Love

They both headed in Jake's room and Jake sat Johnnie down on his bed, while walking out the room to get things to take care of the injury that was on his head. Johnnie felt a sensation in his stomach as he thought about how Jake didn't even ask to take care of his wound. He saw Jake walking back in with a box which he was holding in his hand. He watched as Jake pulled a chair in front of him and placed the box on his lap. Jake slowly opened it and took out some alcohol and cotton.

Jake opened the bottle and put some liquid in the cotton and slowly brought it up to Johnnie's head, over to his wound and carefully pressed down, causing Johnnie to squeeze his eyes shut as he felt a slight pain on his head.
After a couple minutes, Jake had finished and he walked back out to leave the box where it was.

Johnnie felt heat creep in his face as he remembered how Jake's face looked when he was taking care of the injury. Johnnie confessed that he truly does have feelings for Jake. He wants to spend every single day with him. He enjoys hanging out with him and he indeed does get jealous whenever he sees Jake around a girl.

Johnnie's POV:

It seems like every time im around Jake, I seem to forget every problem that is going on in my life. Unless he finds a way to somehow bring it up without knowing. We've been friends for months now, but it feels like we've known each other for years! I slowly grew trust in him. I feel like im ready to tell him everything about my life. I want him to know the real me, the only problem is that im worried that he might see me differently than I do now. I want to tell him everything but im just waiting for the perfect moment..

"So,"  Jake said as we sat beside me on the bed.

"How exactly did you meet Kyle? Like when and where was it? And how did you join a collab channel on youtube?!"  Well, seems like today is 'the perfect moment'...

"It's kind of a really long story.."

"Im listening!"

I took a deep breath in and gave Jake an awkward smile.
"It all began when I was 13 years old I think.. my dad passed away due to cancer and since that day, I've been dealing with really bad depression like, I would self-harm a lot. I've even tried to end my life due to everything getting worse. I met Bryan in one of his tours. He looked at me and said that I had potential for being famous. After that, I begged my mom to let me live with him which at that time he was 24 I think..."

"She then gave in and let me live with him and then we started filming videos together and he helped me get famous in youtube. We then started inviting more people into our channel and thats when we made My Digital Escape. Every thing was fine but he then started making us do weird challenges and stuff which made us really uncomfortable. And since I lived with him, he was more weird towards me. He'd make me drink with him, he would even be really touchy with me. Before anything got weirder, my mom's boyfriend forced me to go live back with her which im glad he did because I wouldn't want to find out what he would do if I never moved out.."

Jake stared at me with disbelief. He had an emotion mixed with shock and sadness. He then moved closer to me and gave me a tight hug.

"Im sorry that happened to you... I wish I met you when you were dealing with all of that.. I would've done anything to make you feel better."

"I mean, you pretty much are... every time im with you, you always make me forget about the things im dealing with. I know I don't show it but, im always happy to be with you. I love hanging out with you."
