Johnnies POV:

A month passed by and Jake and I been hanging out almost every day. We've been sneaking out of school and going to the shack to smoke weed and drink alcohol.

"Dude, wait. So you dropped out of freshman year and then you were force to go back to school?!"

"Yeah.. my mom's stupid boyfriend forced me. But it was pretty cool because I got to meet these people that also dropped out and we were friends.."

"That sounds cool! Im originally from Kansas and if I ever dropped out from school over there, I would get judged really hard! Im glad we moved out from there. So tell me, what did y'all do?"

"Nothing much, we had a collab channel on youtube and we did stupid shit. I moved in with this guy in his 20's and looking back now, that was really, really weird!"

"That sounds fun! Are they still doing videos or did everything end?"

"Im not sure.. I haven't checked in for a while."

"You wanna see if they are?"

"....sure."

Jake took out his phone and went on youtube and searched up mde. They kept making videos which made me feel a little sick in the stomach... im not sure why but im probably just sad I can't make videos with them anymore..

"Wow! They're all emo, like you!"

"Yeah, they stole my swag." I said in a sassy voice that made Jake laugh.

"How come you only talk to me? I mean, am I your only friend here?"

"Not really.. I still talk to Kyle, who was also part of the collab channel, but we don't hang out because he lives a couple of hours away from here."

"Ohh. Well, I should get going. My parents want me to be home early for dinner. See you tomorrow."

I watched Jake leave the shack, leaving me alone. I took out my phone and decided to text Kyle for the 100th time, but he hasn't responded to any messages I've sent him. He's probably just busy... well, since there's nothing to do, I might as well go home.

Once I got home, it was very quiet, which is very concerning because it's usually loud in here. I headed up towards my room and saw that it was clean. Mom probably saw how depressing it looked and tried making it look better instead, she made my comfort place look awful...

3rd person POV:

Johnnie left his house without letting his mother know and headed towards school. However, he was approached by a group of boys who appeared to be around his age.

"Hey, emo boy. So, you and the new kid. Y'all dating or some shit? You two are always skipping school together and sneaking into the woods."

"They're probably fucking!" One of the boys added.

After a brief moment of silence, Johnnie walked away only to be pushed by one of the boys. Johnnie didn't know them. He didn't know what they want from him. He had never seen them before in his life, so why appear now?
