Johnnies POV:
—————————————————————

Jake and I have been dating for a couple of weeks and no one knows about it. Like no one.
When I came back home, Margaret asked how it went and I just told her that we didn't talk about it, but she knew I was lying but I kept trying to convince her nothing happened.

I headed to the shower to get ready for school. I took off my close and stepped in the shower. The scars on my arm were slightly faint.
Since Jake and I started dating, we've never argued about anything. Tara kept bothering us but I managed to ignore her. Jake said that she wasn't "bothering us" and thats how she "jokes" but she can sometimes be annoying with it.

"Johnnie, hurry! Don't want you to be late again!"

"Okay mom!"
I stepped out the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist and walked out to get clean clothes. I didn't feel like putting on makeup but I just felt too 'weird' without it. But either way, I was already late for school so I didn't have any time to do it.

I quickly changed and scrunched my hair with the towel and made my way downstairs, where my mom was sitting on the couch, waiting for me to leave already.
"You're already late."

"I know! Bye, love you!"
I said while i closed the door behind me. I didn't care about being late, I wasn't in a hurry. Nothing special ever happens in school so I couldn't care less about being late.

The cold air made me shiver since I've just gotten out the shower. My hair was still wet so the whole time I was walking, I kept scrunching it with my sleeve to make it less wet.

"Johnnie you're also late? Woah, did you take a showe- WHERES YOUR MAKEUP?!"
Jake asked. I thought he was already in school.

"Yeah I took a shower. I didn't have any time to do my makeup since I got up late."
I turned to look at him and noticed that he had that big smile I always loved. I felt butterflies in my stomach and I quickly turned my head when I realized that my face was heating up.
To make it worse, I didn't have makeup on to cover it.

"Awe, look who's blushing for me!"

"Yeah, yeah, shut up."
Jake intertwined his hands with mine which made my face feel even more warm. The whole walk, we talked about random stuff and I had forgotten that we were holding hands until a lady who was walking with her kid looked at us weird.

"His hands are cold and im just trying to keep them warm."
Jake said to her with an annoyed expression. She just side eyed us and continued walking.

"People are so judgmental. Anyways, you know the project we had a couple weeks ago is due today? Im almost done with my part, just gotta finish up some stuff and then I'll be all done."

"Katie hasn't done anything in her part! I've finished everything in a week and her part is still blank! Damnit!
I worriedly exclaimed.

"Johnnie you look so kissable right now I just wanna pin you to a wall and make out with you aggressively."

"What-"

"You should tell her to do at least something because if not, you two would get a bad grade. Mostly her."

I looked at him with a confused expression.
"Are we just going to ignore what you said.."

"It'd be better if we did. Unless you wanna."
He shrugged and smirked at me.

"I'd like too, but I seriously gotta tell her to do her part."

"Mkay."

We got to school and we both walk in class together and everyone just stared at us. I looked towards Jake who seemed like he didn't have any idea of what was going on.
