HERE IN CENTRAL CITY
The night of the particle accelerator explosion had Jordan St. John working on an ambulance instead of watching the big event like he'd wanted to, with his mom Jessica. Before the blast, he knew his place in the world was to save lives working with the Central City Fire Department as a firefighter paramedic. And that's exactly what he was trying to do when their entire world changed in an instant.
For months after, Jordan is still trying to piece his life back together after losing many dear friends and coworkers due to that night. He struggles with feelings of guilt, loss, and overwhelming grief. And when he finally goes back to work, he's apprehensive of losing any patients. But what Jordan fails to notice is his growing rate of clinical saves.
When others take note of how easily Jordan seems to get ROSC on a cardiac arrest or stop the bleeding with a stabbing or gunshot, the attention catches Jordan more than just awards and commendations. It catches the eyes of those at S.T.A.R. Labs including one Dr. Harrison Wells and a Mr. Barry Allen who apparently works with the CCPD. And that's when they inform him that they believe he's what they're calling a meta-human.
