Side Story 2: Retrieval of Hood

Second part and the sequel to Side Story 1.

BELAWAN EXPERIMENTAL SECTOR

Before we enter the main part of this side story, let us see the result on the rest upon Selat Malaka.

Arif Syah, the Fleet Commander of Armada Gugus Tugas 01, is waiting for Malaka outside of the room. He is worried about the ship, because after all, she is basically a living being once enslaved by the Nazis, and what just happened to her 23 hours ago sent shockwave to the entire Naval Armed Forces. The fact that she gained a human body is unexpected. While being deep in his own mind, a scientists exist the room.

Scientist1: "Syah, you may check her if you want, we determined that there is no radioactive or any other contamination already."

Arif: "Good then....."

Arif then enters the room to see the woman sitting on the bed. She looked European, with clothing that kinda reminds him to the Kriegsmarine, but replacing the Nazi arm band with the Greater Indonesian arm band. Some part of her skin is red like her octopoid flesh attached to the ship that don't shade a single bit to her skin. Together with the fact that she also brought a flag pole with her that seem to be used as a close-range weapon. She also seem to have tentacles alike with those on the vessel.

Malaka: "... Commander?"

Arif: "Hey Malaka, how did you doing?"

Malaka: [looked at her right hand] "Good, I guess..... This is just.... Unexpected....."

Arif: "I mean, yeah, who would have expected a meteor to be able to make a human body for a ship?"

Malaka: "Probably no one."

Arif: "True. Also, have you tried moving your, you know?"

Malaka: "These tentacles? Yeah, I am already used to it since I reawakened post-WW2."

Arif: "Right.... Also, what did those guys do to you, like, what kind of tests?"

Malaka: "Just some oil or blood samples and radioactivity tests. Oh, and also getting energy samples from my heart."

Arif: "Your.... Heart?"

Malaka: "Yeah, turns out that the meteor contains a small cube. It got a beautiful red color. I think you can guess what they are up to."

Arif: [sigh] "Of course they'll synthesize the energy..."

Just then, the door to another room smashed open, with a researcher exiting the room with a red-glowing Cube in his hands.

Researcher: "Done faster than expected!"

Arif: "Just, tell us about the thing, will you?"

Researcher: "Bet! We tested it already as well just several minutes ago!"

Malaka: "I'm sorry, what?"

Arif: "You know what? I ain't questioning how you do it that fast, just tell us what you find, short please."

Researcher: "Ok, so this energy seem to react a lot near Naval vessels."

Arif: "Uhuh?"

Researcher: "Specifically those between pre-Deadnought era to the late 1970s."

Arif: "And?"

Researcher: "We also tested it on old civilian vessels that are sunk as well, and it gave the same reaction."
