Chapter 12: Treaty and Violation

ITALICA, POST-SIEGE

IMPERIAL POV:

Right after the massacre ended, everyone on the wall, specifically the defenders, can only see one thing on the ground, a sea of bodies, with on the skies, an iron fortress and it's army of iron creatures. Several 'Iron Pegasus' drop down men to capture those who surrender to them, as well as medics to treat those that are still alive but are heavily injured. The Rose-Knights present over the walls looked at the horrifying scene, as well as the activity on the sky.

Hamilton: "Monsters..."

They looked at the nearest 'Iron Pegasus' that riddled many of the bandits, as well as the 'Flying Iron Elephants' that is flying around, as they fly in a slow speed, allowing those on the ground to see them clearly.

Pina: "Iron Pegasus? What are they... An absolute violence that non human can withstand... The power to crush everything... A power that denies pride, honor, and everything else.... Is this how the Goddess mock us? How frail, worthless, insignificant humans we are...."

SEF-3RT POV:

Just as she stop her long, useless monologue, the green pegasus and white pegasus dropped two ropes each, followed by both men in green and men in steel began to jump down to the walls from their respective pegasus, taking care of the injured and unconcious on the East Gate, before taking them down the walls to be treated on an easier terrain. There, Sergeant Tomita and Marshal Rurik are approached by the militias who are grateful and curious on them. 

Militia1: "Thank you"

Tomita: "Huh?"

Rurik: ?

Militia1: "You saved our town. What army are you with?"

Tomita and Rurik look at each other, nodding to each other before looking back at the militias.

Tomita: "We are from the JSDF-"

Rurik: "-And the GIAF."

Both: "Joint forces of the PFM."

Pina, who listened the commotion below, looked down back into the walls, thinking to herself.

Pina: (All those bandits.... Almost every single one of them are dead... GIAF.... JSDF.... PFM.... Just what are they? their explanations aren't enough...)

The Japanese the nearest to the wall for some reason proceeded to turn, facing the princess, which looked back while chilling herself to the bone. The Japanese helicopters went to land outside of the walls alongside the tanks and Mils, as there are not enough space to land within the city.

Later, the defenders that are still alive gave their condolences to the 12 dead militias, in which, their bodies are kept frozen by the Indonesians for the burial later after the treaty are officially signed. After that, they leave to do their thing. Pina and her Rose-Knights are still close to where the bodies still lying, just on the other side of the city, observing the reparation of the wall, as some explosives from the outside sometimes penetrated through the walls as well.
